This set of polls is for rookie picks prior to the NFL draft. There will also be a set of polls for after the NFL draft. As always - please feel free to add any comments on why you selected a player at this slot and to suggest players who you think have been overlooked (or if you voted other, then please feel free to add a post on who you voted for).

The purpose for these polls is to attempt to roughly gauge the perceived values of the rookie players without knowing the context of their draft position and team that they are drafted by. The polls that take place after the NFL Draft obviously will factor in situation as well as talent, and of course the knowledge of what NFL Draft round and team each player has landed on.

Debate is very welcome as we all want to know not only which players are specifically ranked ahead of others but also why. This also bumps the thread so that more people will see the poll and hopefully participate by voting.

I will try to stay on top of these and keep the polls moving. The more votes the better. I prefer to not close any poll until there are at least 100 votes (since revised to close to 50 votes) and I might leave a poll open longer if the vote is very close between prospects.

if this holds form, I'll end up with Maxx Williams in a lot of leagues.
One caveat in regards to the 2.07 2QB poll.

Maxx Williams and Bryce Petty were both tied at 6 votes each when I closed the poll. I didn't want to do this.. but I also didn't want to delay starting this poll for another day to maybe break the tie there. The majority of votes are do not play in that format. So it might have taken longer than a day to break this tie.

Because it is 2QB scoring I gave the decision to the QB. But bear in mind that these 2 players were tied at the time I closed the poll.

I am not sure if Maxx Williams should be lasting this long in the polls. Usually the top TE prospect will be voted in at least by the early teens. This TE group in 2015 is pretty uninspiring.

Williams is a solid all around TE. In the right situation I could see him competing for top 24 TE status in 2016.

I think TE is the toughest position to project without knowing the teams, except QB. Their value is even more tied to offensive scheme than RBs/WRs. He could move up a lot if he goes to the right team.

i own this pick and would love it for devin smith to fall here. good thing that i have 2.09 too to scoop up maxx next

Maxx Williams unsurprisingly getting a lot of support in the PPR poll now. He is being narrowly edged out by Agholor in the standard poll.

Poll closed at 44 votes.
