2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs: All hail the Blackhawks, mudbutt (1 Viewer)

Coming back to Chicago 1-1. Hawks with home ice advantage.
That's all they really needed ...2-0 would have been nice, but I'll take 1-1, as will the Hawks. And this was a close game. A TB blow-out of the Hawks would have swung the momentum.

Guessing we won't see Cumiskey on Monday night. Not sure what they'll do about Sharp, although he's experienced enough to shrug off this game and maybe do something productive. The big guns need to start contributing.
Coming back to win Game 2 after the Hawks had yet again scored twice quickly to the lead will provide some Mo to TB.

I wish I could agree with that, but one thing I have learned with these bolts is that there is no momentum game to game. There's barely any shift to shift.

Carle and Sustr both had their minutes dramatically reduced last night. Carle at 13 and Sustr right at 10, down from 16-18. Imagine we will be seeing a lot more of that now with it all winding down.

GAME 2

Last nights Chicago Blackhawks-Tampa Bay Lightning contest on NBC, in which the Lightning won 4-3 to even the series at one game apiece, delivered a 4.8 metered market rating, making it NBCs best Stanley Cup Final Game 2 overnight ever and best on broadcast television on record. It was up 5% vs. last years double overtime Game 2 (4.56, NYR-L.A.).

Poor NBC

What does it say that your sorry ### Midwestern rust belt city doesn't even HAVE a hockey team, bromigo?

@reporterchris: Kristers Gudlevskis just arrived on the same bus with #TBLightning players. That's not normal. The plot thickens.

Almost missed our connection in Toronto. Thunderstorm delay getting into midway. Forgot my green card in Quebec City. Other than that, uneventful.

Going straight to game from airport.
