2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs: All hail the Blackhawks, mudbutt (2 Viewers)

More on Hakstol

Are you sure he didn't say he was hiring "Hextall" and people just misheard him?

First coach to jump from college to the NHL since ... Herb Brooks.
Brooks had NHL experience though, he went back to the college ranks. Last college coach hired with no NHL experience was Badger Bob Johnson in '82. #breakingnewground
I was curious about this, because it seemed very foreign to me to see a college coach get a job.

Chip Kelly of Hockey? I don't care if its not true in style. I'm going with it.
The thought crossed my mind as well.

Personally, I was pulling for John Stevens. It could have worked this time!

it's very rare. only happened 3 times in history:

Hakstol becomes the first college head coach to be named to the same post in the NHL since Herb Brooks in 1987 and just the third NHL head coach ever to get his first head coaching job in the league straight from the NCAA ranks (joining Bob Johnson, Ned Harkness).

Bob Johnson was decent coach. Ned Harkness, not so much, apparently.

I do love the idea that Philadelphia sports could be ground zero for out of the box approaches. Hopefully Ruben Amaro is replaced by Watson soon.

LETS GO RANGERS!!!

See the new sig ;)
How much profit are you making if you sell on SH? Can't be too much because of their fees.
If I can get them off at the current ask, which seems doable, $8k. If I drop it down to $10k (which I am pretty confident will move), profit drops to $5k.

The average listing price right now is just around $6,100 (I paid $6400 for Gold which feels like a real good deal as of now) no club seats for under $8800 (and those are Club Center, mine are Club Gold) - Upper level seating has been selling in the $3-$4k range for the last week. Mine are priced fair in comparison to similar seats.

If I can sell them for $9k outside of SH, it would be an $11k profit, however making a $36k transaction without security is a little worrisome.

STUBHUB!!!

My God they just went to 5 minutes worth of commercials, came back to a 30 second shot of the NY skyline while Emrick read off a Honda commercial AND THEN WENT BACK OUT for more commercials.

Buckybolts>>>>>Bucky>Jack Burton>Crosseyed>worst Pittsburgh fan ever>stubhub42

Please stop sending me Pms making fun of Stubhub42, I know...I know.

Emrick sounding surprised that the Rags haven't given up any other shorties while up two men this year. I'd venture to guess that there were only a handful in the league this year.

Also stop Pming me about the Philippines. I only spent seven days there and 17 local girls, that's really not a great percentage. Could have done much, much better.

just kills me the Wild whiffed on Johnson. guy is brilliant.
Did you guys have him in your system?
No he was signed by the Bolts. Every team missed on him but the fighting Yzermans despite him dominating every level of hockey he's ever played.
that was after his last WHL season when everyone was trying to sign him. was attending Wild camps and Traverse City prospect camp before that and they never gave him a contract. Yotes were looking at him before that as well.
