2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs: All hail the Blackhawks, mudbutt (1 Viewer)

the Rangers aren't even making the Finals, and if they do, it's not going 7.

you tied up $26k for nothing imo.

"Lot's of empty blue seats here."

$2000 worth of glass seats, right down the drain. Stubhub42 hoping Isles tickets are cheaper next year since he can walk to the game and all. :lmao:

There is no risk, I get the money back... I put it on debit and they refunded the Amex. If they don't get there it is a refund and if they do, it will be a quick easy profit.
yes, you tied up the money.

could have put it in the stock market and made more imo. or just bet it on the Bolts in this series.

what do you guys call it when you find three seats in a row on stubhub?
Still a bad investment
I'm willing to make a side bet... Unfortunately DD, BB, and Getz prob don't have enough to make any real wager

If there is a game 7, these tickets make a profit. $1,000 wager, any takers?
A side bet on what? You being a moron? We already won that bet.
A moron at 32 with more than you'll have ever

Place a bet, it was a bad investment and you're loaded with jokes... $5k.

the internet is lousy with very consistent definitions of a natural hat trick. I don't know what they do up in 'Sota, but I don't believe it's a regional term.

Bishop made the stops he needed to make tonight. Bolts were the best team in the NHL on home ice this year, they need to show it now.

So no wager?

No balls, not surprised
Not everyone is as dumb as you. Try your Ponzi scheme somewhere else, trustfund baby.
:lmao:

I come from nothing... My bro and I shared a room. He's worth 8 figures at 35... I prob won't be there by then, but I'm on my way.

:lmao:
This guy is like an older version of Eminence.
:goodposting: :goodposting: :goodposting:

We thought for a long time he was LHUCKS, good chance he's just Em with a rich brother.

Babcock prediction:

He stays in Detroit but signs a short deal, 2 years at $4mm a year. Wings win back-to-back cups, he goes to Edmonton in 2017.

I agree with the first part. I think Babcock will sign short term deals with Detroit until he decides he wants to leave. Sorry, can't see Wings winning back to back cups. I hope the Oilers aren't changing coaches again in 2017, even if they can get Babcock.

We were so poor, we couldn't even afford a sibling for me to share a room with. So I drew stick figures on the wall and pretended they were my brothers and sisters. Im assuming that they're all worth nothing, but I haven't seen them since we were evicted from that place when I was 7

Tough one to shake off but I was at least glad to hear McDonagh take the team to task for all the terrible penalties.

Ugly, ugly result but gotta keep in mind that this game was 3-2 after two and a Rick Nash breakaway and juicy rebound to Brassard from tying it, and Tampa took care of business immediately after to go up two. It would be nice if these guys could score on something besides rebounds and bank shots.

Nash had another opportunity to be the man and he just doesnt seem like the type to step up like Ovi and try to put the team on his shoulders. That break away last night was not a shot to score but a shot to get a rebound. I would like my 40 goal scorer to go in hard and stuff it in. You think Ovi tries to shoot for a rebound there.

Bad game. Shake it off and move on. TB best home team, Rangers best road team. I see another split coming back to MSG

Is Marty gonna retire after this year? My God he's awful.
There was talk a few months ago about bringing him back with a low salary, bonus-laden deal for one more year, but I don't see how it can be possible now. He shouldn't be playing now but the team is loyal to him. What's worse is all the PP time he's being given to "snap out of it" but I also doubt that would work. He's missing wide open nets, can't lift the puck, and that early play last night could have been even worse. He finds himself with the puck all alone and doinks it off the heel of his blade 5 feet wide.

He's ineffective in a lower line role which compounds the problem. At least when Richards struggled a ton in the playoffs, they could move him to the 4th line and he could win some faceoffs.

I'd sit him tomorrow and get Lindberg in.

I blame in order

MSL

Rick Nash
I didn't watch all of last night's game, but Nash has been getting his shots and playing very good in his own end. Having a 5 on 3 and giving up a SH goal is pretty darn bad. From what I saw, the Rangers played better 5 on 5 than the Bolts last night. Two plays where the Ranger tripped over their own feet and a dive were the game.

See my reply to rusf

I expect my stud players to do more than play good in both ends. He has done fine forechecking and backchecking. Lets score some goals

I've taken this approach before and there's no doubt the other parts of his game are very strong and underrated, but there comes a time when it's just not enough. And that time is when you have trouble scoring for the second consecutive playoffs on a Cup-contending team. He's gotta score and he's gotta bury these chances. His shots for the most part are not the strongest...he's staying to the outside when he comes down the boards and shooting high. I'd like to see him shoot low more to get the same kind of rebounds that led to the opening goal against the Pens. But either way, he needs to use his strength to get to the middle of the ice. He leads the team in shots (or did heading into last night) and only has a couple goals for a shockingly low shooting %. He hasn't looked the same since that neck injury he had and it has seemed to change the way he's played.
