grr live betting has the Cavs -8.5.  I want to bet the Cavs so bad, and the friggin sportsbooks don't want to give them any points

Man, i really hate to give any credence to the idea that the NBA is fixed, but the fact that this Cavs team didn't bounce back after last game and this game doesn't look at all like both of those games in Boston is pretty weird

I don't usually subscribe to conspiracy theories but first Kyrie is killing it then he hurts his ankle I don't know just saying you heard it first here brohans

They are human, they don't play the same everyday.

How about a 28 foot step back to end the quarter after hitting drive after drive after drive in incredible fashion.

21 pts in the quarter for Kyrie.

well i don't think the holes in the Celtics line-up just evaporate. Maybe it is poor coaching by Cavs, who knows. As a Sixers fans, i am fine seeing the Celtics think they are good to go and this close to a championship.

Keep dreaming if you think you're smarter than Danny Ainge.

Agreed...best thing for the Sixers would be the Celts going to the finals and losing on a last minute shot by Durant in Game 6...

I agree, a team is having a few mediocre nights so a multi-billion dollar league is definitely risking all of their value and worth to have a few games fixed.

I think it really shows, again, what a great coach Stevens is.  He made adjustments after game 1 and 2 and got this group to play better.

lol, i'm not suggesting this you silly goose. I simply stated it was strange that this game the Cavs wouldn't bounce back and trounce Boston like games 1 and 2.

and as for thinking that this multi-billion dollar league doesn't influence games, you are being naive. Try betting against the Lakers  after they win a championship playing in LA. I have watched multiple bets go down the tubes by what some may call completely baffling ref'ing. But it certainly seems determined, same as the refs would likely not call a 5th foul on Lebron tonight, no matter hat he did after that 4th. Not until late in the game

Give the Celtics credit after losing game 2 at home like they did to come back win game 3 and to take a 16 point lead tonight in game 4 without Thomas has been nothing short of amazing.  They showed some real heart tonight win or lose.

Reading this thread post game was hilarious thanks to you buddy.
Did they get another call?

Nope.  Celts had one foul called in the 4th, at around the 9 min mark.

And no, that had nothing to do with why they lost. I was just commenting on a few seemingly obvious calls missed

I don't think you can complain about lack of foul calls when they got 4 on Lebron in the first half.
I wasn't complaining about a lack of calls, but a lack of a call.  It was a game thread and a foul was missed, I noted it, nothing else.  Weebs picked that comment out a day later

As a Celtics fan, that was a tough game to watch slip away last night.  They had them.  BronBron on the bench with 4 fouls with 6+ minutes in the first half.  They were playing great defense. But then Jae Crowder who granted, played a solid first half, but then decided to shove his head so far up his butt that his dreads were not even seeing the light of day.

Stevens who is a Boy Wonder had no answers for Kyrie.  Why they didn't get physical knocking him around a little bit every time he came into the paint is beyond me.

They had this game and it would have been an absolute tremendous win,....but they let it get away.  Very sad day.

Cavs went 21-24 for a stretch there. They basically couldn't miss. This included 30 foot threes, expiring shot clock forces. About the only thing not going in were grandiose windmill dunks ;)

irving was more impressive than I have ever seen him. As Stevens said in his presser, sometimes you just have to tip your cap.

You say they should have started fouling more. They already had a few guys with high foul counts, so now you have those guys on the bench, and you have Zeller playing more.

I really hope Chicago trades Butler to Boston.   It makes too much sense not to.  Or a Butler/lopez for 1st and Crowder

Thomas

Smart

Butler

Horford

Lopez

is a contender
