Another disappointing loss. Up 4 with a minute to go. Orlando goes up for the first time since the 1st quarter with 1.4 secs left.

Bummer for Ersan. Fourth time he's been traded since last offseason, and I'm pretty sure Philly just wants his expiring contract.

I became a fan of his in Detroit, and I think the Pistons liked him too, but the Tobias Harris deal was a no-brainer, even moreso the way he's started this season.

bucks win with jabrari looking pretty darned good tonight glad to see it take that to the bank bromigos

He's looks good on paper aside from an outlier shooting year awhile back, and he passed the eye test when I got to see him play the Wizards a few times over the last couple years. But the fact that so many coaches have had him on the roster and have all decided he's expendable probably means something at this point.

Lowe's articles and podcasts are on another level, but damn if I don't absolutely love when I get a notification that a new Jalen & Jacoby podcast is available.  I'm sure their shtick will get tired after awhile (perhaps already is for some of you) but I really enjoy their stuff.

Yah, I've been worn out by Jalen's analysis. I liked it when he was in podcast form vs... ESPN radio.

Lowe and JJ Reddick podcasts are the basketball ones I make time for.

Duncan's are top-notch as well if you care about the nitty gritty of contract, CBA, and the analytics of play.

I know we are only 5% through the season but the box scores by Russ, Davis, and Harden are the stuff of video games.

Russ - 39/12/12

davis - 37/13 and crazy d

Harden - 32/7/12

tron master just buried a dos of threes in the final couple of minutes in the bucks win over the pacers it was pretty awesome the bucks looked good tonight i dig it take that to the bank brohans

The Nuggets' future backcourt (Mudiay an Murray) are a combined 19-79 shooting to start the season. The good news is that Mudiay only has 19 turnovers through 4 games, which is a big improvement over the 25 he had through 4 games last year. Great time to be a Nuggets fan.

what happened at the end of the game when the nuggets were up 102-99 and Mudiay seemingly hit a 3 after Jones gambled for a steal?  Was that a shot-clock violation or why didn't it count?  I had on the computer with no sound and was doing other things so I wasn't sure.

I only caught the third quarter so I didn't catch it, but the play by play said it was a shot clock violation.

I'm going to put my Abe trade hat on (I actually saw this trade on the Twitters):

Paul George for Jusuf Nurkic, Wilson Chandler, and Gary Harris

In two months if the Pacers are still struggling, the trade makes a lot of sense. For the Pacers, Nurkic and Turner could easily play together, Chandler gives them a good-ish replacement for George, and Harris would be their SG of the future. Maybe the Nuggets throw in one of the 2017 firsts they have (Memphis or their own) For the Nuggets, they are obviously getting the best player in the deal and Gallo and George would be a difficult pair to defend at the 3/4. With Jokic and George and fewer future money committed to extensions, they could go all in on pursuing Griffin or Millsap.

Showtime this weekend premieres "One And Done", a documentary about Ben Simmons.  Got to catch an advance screening of it.

It's OK.  Simmons's journey isn't very dramatic, but the family really did let the cameras in on their big decisions.

Best element of it is how candid Simmons is about not giving a #### about his classes and refusing to give in to the "student-athlete" charade.  When he's doing interviews with the press he says the right things, but when it's just the documentary cameras following him around he lets his guard down and makes it clear he's just biding his time until the NBA Draft.  Refreshing to see a player of Simmons's stature go off on how awful the NCAA is, and how unfair the money NCAA, ESPN, and LSU makes off Simmons while he isn't allowed to make or take any money off his likeness or fame.

That doesn't seem like nearly enough for George to me.

Not enough upside coming back from the Nuggets.

On a related note, I don't think teams are going to feel as much pressure to dump max players with expiring deals with the new CBA coming. Theres a good chance their current teams will be able to offer a lot more $ than their suitors.

I'm in a dynasty league with a really nice core of players (giannis, AD, love).  I have Wiggins on the bench because giannis is a better fantasy player.  My Pg is Parker.  I think I can trade Wiggins for Deangelo russel.  I hesitate because i wonder if Gianni's will ever get PG eligibility and solve my problems. Then again, tony Parker.

Any thoughts?

Golden state didn't lose two games until January last year if I recall correctly.

And how many last year did they lose by 20+?

I sold my Laker tickets today because I hate the Warrior fans that come down, and I really didn't want to sit there and watch them get crushed and listen to that dumb warrrrriorrr chant in Staples. Oof.

I'd pull the trigger on that, but it's a close call Wiggins is still so young and seems to have worked on his long range jumper in the offseason.

Still, his boxes are almost Nick Youngish at times.  How can someone with his athleticism play so many minutes and get so few rebs and assists?
