Felton is Chris Paul's back-up now? Feels like everything coming full circle.

I remember being convinced that Felton would be better than Paul. And that Lawson would be better than Curry.

33pts, 12reb, 16ast for Westbrook tonight.  Only 21fga.

Thunder are 3-0.

Oladipo 20.  Adams 14 and 12.

Team looked more fluid tonight but it was the Lakers they were playing.

Westbrook has been amazing, but he is rocking a usage rate that would make Kobe blush. They have needed all of that to beat maybe the three worst teams in the league. Tough to see this lasting all year, though it'd make for a good story.

i like watching westbrook play and do not hate him like i do kobme so at least he has that going for him which is nice take that to the swc is a fan bank bromigos

Over unders are out: http://www.espn.com/chalk/story/_/id/17597014/las-vegas-sets-golden-state-warriors-regular-season-wins-665

after a quick glance, I think I like the SA over, and Minnesota under (still too soon). Maybe the Jazz under as I think people may be getting a little ahead of themselves there.
A little late on this but I like the Hawks over - their division isn't very good and while we will miss Horford some, I don't think it will be as big as some think.  With Howard, we finally have someone to help protect the rim and let Millsap rest a little on defense instead.  Backup PG is what concerns me most with Teague moving.  I think they will be in the 45-48 range and most likely win the division and then be one and done or two and done in the playoffs.

I completely forgot to mention the big reason I like the Howard move and think he won't be a drop off from Horford.  Rebounding.  Hawks were 28th in rebound differential last year.  Horford was never a great rebounder IMO - he'd get his due to his size but hopefully having an interested Howard will have us on the plus side rebounding-wise.

^^^ I agree with you.

Horford and Howard couldnt be more different as far as NBA centers go. I think this will help the Hawks in rebounding and defense. Howard grabbed what seemed to be every rebound on Friday night. The big question marks for the Hawks besides the health of Howard and Millsap will be the PG position as a whole. I like Schroeder a lot, but can he produce as a starter with starter minutes, can he shoot decent percentages, and who is going to step up as a backup. Korver is another key factor in this team being successful. Being able to spread the floor with his 3-point shot is going to be big for Howard to work inside.

Kobe had the highest ever usage rate in 05-06 with 38.74% (Westbrook is #2 in 14-15), Westbrook is at 40.4% so far. I could definitely see him keeping it that high too.

Trailblazers broadcast cuts Dikembes halftime speech mid word...  :lmao:

And it was good until..
I was at the game, you didn't miss much. Dikembe is so ####### hard to understand. Dan Issel's speech was great though. He ended his speech saying, "When Bernie Bickerstaff drafted Dikembe, he told me not only is he a great basketball player, but he is also a very intelligent young man. Dikembe can speak seven languages. Unfortunately, as you are about to learn, English is not one of them."

Shaq bought a Krispy Kreme.

As phrased, doesn't seem like news.  But he bought an established Krispy Kreme store in Atlanta.  So Shaq is officially in the donut business.

O/U number of boxes of Krispy Kremes Shaq and Barkley tear through this season in the Inside The NBA Studio; 5,824,376.5
I've been to that Krispy Kreme a few times.  Good location - I'll have to stop in soon to see if I can run in to the big guy.

Oladipo got 84/4 from OKC.

Adams got 100/4 from OKC.

Dieng getting 64/4 from Min.

Life is good in the NBA.

Thunder fan, happy with locking up Adams.  Not sure yet about Oladipo, but with the way the CBA keeps going up its never bad to lock up young talent.

It's what Evan Fournier got minus a  year. Gun to my head (and it's often since I'm a Magic fan) I'd rather have Fournier but Oladipo's ceiling is higher.

I couldn't stand Oladipo's inconsistency shooting. Then he would lose his confidence and he finishes about as poorly as humanly possible. Here is the kicker, he never got to the line.

I miss him.  :bag:

Would you be saying this if he ended up on the Wizards?
I don't think he'd be acting like this if he was on the Wizards, because public perception of him would be very different.  I think he's always been considered a good guy, this is the first time he's dealt with being the villain.  He's always been kinda prickly, but he used to get a pass.

michael carter williams hurt last night i do not wish injury on any player so that stinks i hope that he gets better quickly take that to the bank brohans

I know it's crazy early and their team 3-pointer % will certainly drop from its current 42.5%, but the Bulls start has been quite impressive.  Currently leading the league in offensive efficiency.  They might not be the train wreck many predicted.

Cody Zeller 4/56 too I guess.  I think he's a better player that Dieng probably, but isn't on the court as much for various reasons.

Jerami Grant to OKC...Ilyasova goes to Philly with a pick (2nd rounder would be my guess).  Apparently they've been after Grant for awhile.

EDIT: apparently it's a heavily protected first....TRUST THE PROCESS

Wonder if they are going to buy out Ilyasova.

They don't need to and he does provide spacing for whichever C he plays with.  I would think they'd need his minutes at least until Simmons gets back.
They should be giving Saric all the minutes he can handle in that role, rather than a vet on an expiring deal.

no doubt, but there is something to be said for letting either of the two Cs develop playing with a stretch 4 who provides some spacing.  They sort of need to decide if either C are extension worthy fairly soon.

Can I get a quick rundown on Jerami Grant?  We don't get a lot of Philly games on TV here...

Good rebounder...can't shoot.  He's a good 4th big...not sure why OKC felt the need to get him though.  My guess is they see some Ibaka in him, but besides being athletic, he's not much of a player yet.

Ilyasova's on the last year of his deal, right?

Grant is non-guaranteed this year and next.  I guess it gives OKC a body with some theoretical potential and like $7.5 million more this year to maneuver with.

They're under the cap by about 7 this year, and then way over next with the extensions, so my guess they have another move coming at some point for someone who can shoot.  I'm not sure what asset they have to give though since their first round picks are tied up now.
