My thoughts overall.
I'm getting really tired of all the criticism that Dom Capers receives. This defense was shredded by injury coming in, and got no help with the loss of Burnett. And when they had to get a stop, they got a stop to limit Dallas to field goal to tie it late. Josh Hawkins and Brice were in the secondary. Let that sink in.
Micah Hyde played an outstanding game. He's a glue guy. Gunter gave up plays, but gotta love that he just flat out competes. The secondary needs some more talent and experience for sure, but I like watching guys like Hyde and Gunter play with savvy and desire.
Perry and Matthews made a play when it counted. Clearly neither is 100%, but they got it done in the clutch.
Cook earned himself a new deal in Green Bay. He's proving to be the difference for this offense.
We witnessed why Michael can't seem to stick on a team despite his talent. Big, costly mistake in a big game.
Two touchdowns and a 4.3 average on the ground for Montgomery? I'll take that, he looks like a running back.
Crosby is a stud.
Let's see if they can get some guys back on the field and get a win in Atlanta.
