2016 NBA Draft - The place where Kings' fans dreams are crushed. (2 Viewers)

1. Sixers - Simmons

2. Lakers - Ingram

3. Celtics - Bender

4. Suns - Chriss

5. Wolves - Murray

6. Pelicans - Dunn

7. Nugs - Savings (Sabonis) leaving the autocorrect

8. Kings - Hield

9. Raptors - Ellenson

10. Bucks - Poeltl

11. Magic - Brown

12. Jazz - Davis
Don't think so based on what I'm reading with Bender.

Bender reportedly ruled out by Boston. Should be interesting to see who Phoenix chooses if go with a 4.

If I'm Celts I take Dunn and use Smart&16 (or other pick) to trade for a contribute now big. If Ibaka is infact on the block, perhaps OKC finds a way to snag Avery Bradley.
I think Bradley is the guy the Celts move in that scenario.  Sounds like Edwards is ok with Smart at the 3 sometimes because of defense.

Pretty good shtick on SportsCenter right now:

1) Live look-in on the Kings war room, which had 2 people in it and 12 empty chairs.

2) Simmons entering the building, looking at his phone (probably at The Ringer), and a camera-man in front of him just eats ####. Simmons kind of looks at him curiously and steps around him and keeps going.
3) Guy in crowd with "Hinkie 3:16" sign.

Short-term thinking...if they feel Dunn is the third best player and you can't make a deal tonight than take him and figure it out later...
I agree, but often the gloss on a fresh draft pick has higher value in the moment then it does later.  Christmas Gift syndrome.

I don't disagree with that....but unfortunately for the Celtics none of the talent available at #3 is both a combo of talent and fit for them...they are well stocked at guard but they aren't in a position to pass on a Dunn, Buddy or Murray if they feel they are the best player available...

The process worked.  But was painful. And could have been even better.

Simmons.

Embiid.

Okafor.

Noel. (a trade, but began the process)

Saric.

Doesnt mean they will win, but they loaded up on legit pro talent.

Jalen continues this bull#### with comparing Simmons shooting woes to Grant Hill's when he came into the league.  Jalen, it's a vastly different league now.  3 pt shooting wasn't valued in the same universe as it is now in the NBA.  Hill's lack of range wasn't nearly the detriment then that it would be now.  Not saying that Hill wouldn't succeed now, or that Simmons won't, but the argument just doesn't make sense to me.

Man, they love going over the top dumping on the Sixers. You really think adding Saric, Embiid and Simmons won't make a difference with this team? So silly.

Kings pick up a first rounder for maybe the worst guard in the league last year, and someone else took Jaylen Brown. What is Vivek going to do to screw this night up for me?

WOW!! Jaylen Brown Figured they'd go with someone that'll be closer to contributing offensively.

Really interested to see where Phoenix goes. Can't believe Dunn might just fall into Twolves lap

I figured the Wolves couldn't screw it up because they'd just get whoever was leftover from Hield, Murray, and Dunn.  Now they'll actually have to make a decision.

Looks like the Brown rumors were not a smokescreen...the word locally was they really liked him...on the surface this doesn't look like a pick with a trade in mind...that probably would have been Dunn...this appears to be a guy they are keeping (does it mean Crowder is in play as trade bait?)...in all honesty I don't know how I feel about this...there was no easy pick at #3 and the kid is a crazy athlete and plays hard D which is a must with Stevens...the question is can Stevens turn that athleticism into a legit basketball player...I trust Ainge/Stevens so I will go along with this until I see otherwise but there is no doubt there are questions here...
