2016 NBA Draft - The place where Kings' fans dreams are crushed. (2 Viewers)

Someone want to try to explain Jaylen Brown to the Celts. I have a hard time believing that he was their guy all along. Could they traded down and got him at 6 or 7.

For the past month you knew Simmons and Ingram were off the board and Jaylen Brown is their guy?  What am I missing?
The Globe mocked him to the Cs . I want happy but when it comes to the nba draft I feel I'm clueless so I have faith in Danny

I wanted Hield or Dunn. Even would have been happy with Chriss

What are they going to get trading down? They don't need more picks and if he is their guy than just make the pick.  I'm sure they wanted to swing a deal but didn't have interest in Okafor or Noel.
I'd take either Okafor or Noel if you're option at 3 was Brown.  Gross.  As a Wolves fan first and Celts fan 2nd, was disgusted with their pick but pumped about what it meant for the Wolves at 5.

Let's just say I don't think Danny is off to a great start tonite.

It all depends on how he turns out, rarely does the pre-draft thought on players align to how they perform in the NBA. Granted, I would have pulled the trigger on a deal with Philly but I'm not going to bash the Celtics yet.

Illyasova probably wasn't going to have his option picked up. It's pretty much Oladipo and the 11th for Serge.

Adams is going to average 30 rebs with Oladipo and Russ throwing up bricks.

#### you all, I'm going to bed.

I will try...he actually may have been their guy all along barring a trade...he has been openly linked to them for a few weeks...supposedly he blew them away at his work-outs (they brought him back for a second one) with his athleticism, attitude and defensive ability (i.e. stuff that Stevens values in a big way)...he is one of those high risk/high reward picks...big ceiling and floor here...the biggest concern has to be his shooting...if he doesn't improve in that area will he be able to drive to the hoop...this picks reminds me of something Belichik would do...valuing someone higher than others do and leaving the draftniks scratching their head on draft-day...BB has hit the jackpot on many of those picks but has also had plenty of misses...so right now it is "in Danny and Brad we trust"...

So the Kings dealt Chriss for some Greek guy, Bogdan Bogdanovic (great shooter but who has already said hes not coming over this year) and #28 pick. Building for the future. Again

Okay.
