2016 NBA Draft - The place where Kings' fans dreams are crushed. (2 Viewers)

Murray, Beasley, Hernangomez is a great draft for the Nuggs to team up with Mudiay, Nurkic, Jokic, etc.  Trade Faried/Harris for what you can and continue to build.
I rather like Harris. I would much sooner look to trade Beasley.

Harris was incredibly efficient this year and should develop into the 3-D guy that teams spend years drafting for or throwing money down the drain chasing. He'll never make any all-star games, but he's going to be a top of the rotation/starting guard for the next decade.

I think Beasley's ceiling is higher, but I have no problem keeping both.  Nuggs are doing well rebuilding.

:lmao: For ####'s sake DOES JALEN ROSE EVER LISTEN TO ANYTHING??

They just said literally 30 seconds beforehand the picks were dealt to Memphis.

YES!!! Ulis to Suns. Awesome stuff. A+ draft. Absolutely ####### KILLED it tonight.

YES! YES! YES!!!

Maybe so, but you need role players and Harris is a proven role player at 21 years old. Harris measured 6'2.5" w/o shoes, Murray measured 6'3", and Beasley measured 6'3.5". Beasley is also a little longer than the other two, so maybe he can play a little SF, but if not, he's just going to be getting garbage minutes for the next couple years unless he is significantly better than advertised or Murray is significantly worse than advertised. I would have much rather had them take Luwawu who could be a full time 3.

I like the Brogdon pick.  Good chance he can stick in a rotation.  Also a good chance he's too slow to stick in a rotation.  #2ndroundpick

Surprised Davis fell out of the first round, but I did think the mocks that had him going in the lottery were off. He had flashes of brilliance for MSU but wasn't very consistent, and was absolutely useless in the tournament loss to Middle Tennessee. He's probably going to need at least one full season in the D-League. Still a lot of upside though and I hope he does well.

Can't blame him for being mopey IMO - he's 19, thought he was going lottery and fell to the 2nd round.

They should be elated that they just flipped a couple seconds for a 1st at about the time that Paul will be moving on.  Could be a throwback high 1st from the Clips.
Maybe if it wasn't like top 14 protected and may end up as a second in three years.   Yeah, epic deal Danny.  Awful night to be a Celtics fan.   This is even worse then the LEN BIAS draft imo.

Diamond Stone better have NBA skills because no hiring manager is calling him for an interview. Well, maybe Magic City.

Looks like it's lottery protected :kicksrock:

Bias was a great pick by Red, who knew Len would snort an ounce of blow celebrating.

I honestly had no idea people thought this highly of Oladipo
Fantastic move by OKC. Can put Oladipo on Curry/Thompson and unlike Roberson can make plays. He also isn't going to be asked to be a primary scoring option for OKC. I think Sabonis will be good when called upon as a complimentary offensive piece down the road (and wouldn't embarass himself if called upon now and offers floor spacing like Ibaka). I actually think OKC got a lot better overall for 2016.

I don't think it's a bad move for ORL either. Ibaka has regressed on both ends, but they obviously weren't keen on paying Oladipo long term and they've now got a nice little 3some with Gordon/Ibaka/Vucevic

Would have been nice to have him back for this year to work on building some real NBA level-skills and improve his draft stock.  I wasn't surprised he dropped because he really doesn't offer an NBA team a ready-to-go pro skill set yet.  He has a ton of work to do. Hope it works out for him and his family.  Another MSU one and done in Memphis (Zach) will hopefully mentor the kid and take him under his wing.

Kid was always mopey at State.  Think that's just him.
