How does this league account for "winners" post-doping scandals?  Or is that its own separate statistic that we get magic points for?

Why does your squad look so much better than mine?
most are all old, and have been all over the television.

i figured i would pick some big names, so when phill goes off on how great they were, i can say, 'that guys on my team'

froome and sagan are no brainers, and tj. is a local kid.  fuglsang still has some legs.

I been back and forth if Froome + $8/$10 flyer > Pinot and Contrador.  That flyer is going to have to finish in the top 15 and Froome must win to even have a shot.

I'm excited to view a couple of the middle stages - I just returned from a vacation that included southern France.  (Look at me!).  I was in the incredible town of Carcassonne, which is the start of a stage, and also in the cliff-side town of Gordes, which they pass through the next day.  I saw a field below the town of Sault with a pattern cut into it ...I'm guessing they'll pass right by there.

Will be cheering for sky to fail in a spectacular manner
Any particular reason why?  Movistar and Tinkoff pretty much the same except with slightly less emphasis on the TdF.  Astana is probably dirtier.

Who will you be cheering for.

Not a huge fan of the velogames format.  They should just price all the riders and let you chose.  At the very least, add a second wildcard and dump the third schmuck spot.

I just think the whole team is just a USPS starter kit.  I think the rest of the teams at least sort of halfway give off signals that they do things right up to the point of being caught. I mean it's pretty clear they have a line in the sand of you can dope THIS much and it's ok.....

Sky seems to at least have something a little extra, maybe something pharma that isn't detectable.  That they put on this magnanimous face over the whole thing is off putting.

I'm with you on this.  their holier than thou attitude rubs me the wrong way.  i prefer the astana, tinkoff types, where the cartoon villain is slinking away, dressed all in black, cackling    maniacally.

Also, I have swapped out my 4s at least five times today... pretty sure I would up with the same ones I started with - lol

They always make this so blasted hard. I haven't felt good about an entry of mine in a few years.
And after a week I am always all like "how could I have missed someone so obvious"

I thought it started tomorrow.  #### me.

How can you not allow spoilers? You gonna DVR this #### and wait till the night to watch it?

I love Sagan but this TdF is probably too hilly for him to do much in a consistent basis.

Maybe echelons today in the last 40km and tomorrow's finish is pretty hard

Froome - Couldn't see a reason why not.

Allaphippe - He's been killing it this year.  Probably too young but could be a top 10 finisher at a cheap price.

Quintana - More mountains and less TT miles made this an easy selection

Frank - Finished in the top 10 last year and was super cheap at 8

Kristoff - Hated this selection.  Looking at the tour profile I wanted Quintana more than Sagan

Pantano - Best value on the board at 6.  Could be a KOM threat.

Hayman - 1st at Paris Roubaix, could be a threat to win a hilly stage where the sprinters get dropped

Dennis - Really could be the team leader for BMC

Izagirre - Crushed it at Tour de Sussie.  Might win the uphill TT.  Typically a sprinter makes sense for the wildcard.

Interesting enough the overall winner last year did not have Sagan which was shocking.

I didn't take Froome. At the end of the day, I could take Porte, Bardet, Gallopin, and Kreuziger instead of Froome and a bunch of guys who may or may not score points, it spreads out my risk, and I also differentiated myself from most everyone else who I assumed would take Froome. I would have gone Valverde instead of Porte, but I'm trying to stay away from guys who rode the Giro.

It seems like a lot of people went with two big guns and have a few dead roster spots. I'm hoping to get points from 8 of my 9 spots. The downside is that Froome is probably going to win the thing and I won't have him.

I'm also somewhat surprised how many other people have Alaphilippe, though maybe I shouldn't be. Perhaps I should have gone Mejintes in that young 10 point guy slot.

I'm also second guessing myself taking Degenkolb in the flex spot. I'm not sure this is the year for two sprinters, but both him and Sagan tend more toward an all rounder rather than a pure sprinter
He set himself up for an attempt at a yellow jersey with today's finish.

I forget  to turn it on today.  Shocked at the time gaps.  Was that all crash related?

Froome and Quintana put time into most of of their rivals.  TJVG not on the ball again.

no froome for me.  don't like him.  he'll probably win, but maybe my mostly doping team will pay off. :D
i went with an all around team and climbers, climbers, climbers.  thomas will be with froome.  the rest will  at least be alive in the mountains.  2 man crush members, spartacus and sagan.  lots of youth.  should be fun!
