Duly noted.you can take the high road sometimes. grow thicker skin.
Yeah someone dug up an old article about Shaq skipping it in reference to that claim.I heard the interview with Trautwig and Phil and he said no one ever skipped one of these with him before...sounded pretty arrogant about it as well...he is such a loose cannon...I can't believe one of his reasons for dealing his best asset (by far) is an exit interview...
Guy has never scored a point in the NBA.i hope the knicks dont take the french PG ntikilina. look at his stats, they suck!
And his name looks like a typo or the name of yet another half baked software framework.i hope the knicks dont take the french PG ntikilina. look at his stats, they suck!
phil is trumpesque, ADD, cant shut up for his own good, thinks he's the smartest man in the room, refuses to put in the work.Yeah someone dug up an old article about Shaq skipping it in reference to that claim.
What's amazing is that Phil is doing the same thing here that he did with Carmelo. Just outwardly attempting to lessen or outright kill trade value by publicly bashing the player and citing his weaknesses/concerns.
None of those show him as "soft". He was either late on rotations or just didn't get high enough. Soft would be ducking out of the way or letting a guy back him down under the basket for a dunk.
Sad!phil is trumpesque, ADD, cant shut up for his own good, thinks he's the smartest man in the room, refuses to put in the work.
The Unicorn is not a great fit for the Celts because, with our Leprechaun, we'd then have two starters who cant man up on D (besides the cap penalties for having more than one mythical creature on a team) but i still want him because he opens up the offense with the most unstoppable pop this side of KD and can close several plays a game from the weakside on defense. #3 and the Jersey pick or Crowder-or-Brown/#3/LA pick is as high as i'd go tho
I already said I was sorry for engaging you in the 1st place, I didn't realize you had such thin skin. I am sorry again, go away and let us have our fun.

My thoughts exactly.
Just imagine if they add one of those yetis discussed earlier in the thread.

That's just because he couldn't. They had already traded away their 2016 #1 in the Bargnani deal, so he had to hold onto 2015 (KP) and this year's. I'm sure 2018 will go soon enough.the only thing phil has done remotely right is not trade #1s. selena hernangomez can play, but that is offset by the noah deal. and please, will someone sign our stinking rose so phil cant!
Earlier it was discussed that the Celtics were trying to acquire another lottery pick this year - it may be part of a Porzingis deal. The Celtics offered the Knicks their No. 3 pick, a player and an additional lottery pick for Kristaps Porzingis, according to Ian Begley of ESPN NY.
This isn't too far off from what the NY Daily News said the Knicks are asking for: No. 3, the Nets pick next year, Jae Crowder and Jaylen Brown. Considering the Knicks are rebuilding, it makes very little sense for them to acquire the bargain contract of Crowder, unless they're going to trade that away in a future deal. Porzingis has clearly become the hot target for teams and has passed Jimmy Butler. The Celtics appear to be closest on making a deal. Stay tuned.
I'm really hoping they trade up to get Issac, but I doubt it will happen. If they stay at 13 I want them to grab OG. I think his floor is Andre Roberson with a slightly less busted jumper. Something I don't ever see mentioned is that even though he is a sophomore, he still isn't 20 and is younger than TJ Leaf, Bam Adebayo, Justin Patton, Markkanen, and Jackson who are all projected in the first round as freshman. (Small side note, how the #### are there freshman who are over 20 years old already. In Colorado the cut-off for school was August when I was growing up - now it is October, so the oldest kids in my HS would have been 2 full months short of 20 right now as college freshman.)I don't know why I am looking forward to tonight. Denver is actually putting together a nice group of young players (hopefully will add Collins or maybe OG tonight) but the best case scenario is a 6-8 playoff spot and a first round exit.
Then management will do as they have since the beginning of time with this team, lose patience, trade assets, tank and then try and rebuild--rinse and repeat. It is so cute the Denver media thinks this team has a shot at Butler or CP3 signing here. It is really frustrating being a Nuggets or any 2nd-3rd tier team. Frankly with the direction the league is going with the super team idea, they should just downsize to like 12 teams and have like 6 all-star games played around the league each night.
Oh and I knowjust to save you guys the trouble

But here's to an excuse to drink beer tonight.
and not for nothing, for a guy that misses chunks of seasons, joel embiid sure does yap alot why not play more than 31 games then you can blabber about..
I would put it above 50/50.People get tied into terms like the #1 pick and top-5 pick without applying names and actual worth to it. What are the odds Fultz ends up better than Porzingis? I'd say pretty low, and no matter what we already know he can play and dominate in the league. Not saying Philly should trade for him as he makes less sense there, but Boston damn sure should have given up the #1 and something else for him.
Getting dunked on doesn't make you soft Opie.I'm not dumb, you said "KP isn't soft at all" when I remember him getting dunked on all year.
You know its bad when a 31 year old Al Horford dunks on you.

I don't think they are hitting the reset button as much as flailing around mindlessly. At the same time Bledsoe is only 27.If NYK is hitting the reset button, Bledsoe doesn't fit on their timeline.
You could learn a thing or two from me.I apologize to all the good posters of this thread and ask for forgiveness. I tried to be funny and I failed and brought misery to this thread.
No, the wheeling and dealing for players and picks is too much fun. I wish the draft was another week away. Can we start the damned draft already?
You took the points on a home playoff team? ML would habe been around 700. Lol
This guy is gonna be a super star. Just got to wait another 5 years or so for the rest of his game to come alongJust heard a report that the Drummond to the Kings deal is pretty much dead.![]()

what i would say about that is that KP was severely hampered being paired with melo and rose. he regressed last year and rightly so with 2 ball black holes on the floor. he is 7'3" and runs the floor, has a real good handle and shoots the 3. he needs a pass first PG that can kick and a low post guy that will draw a double. he reminds me of dirk, who won with Kidd. though he is 7'3" he is not a C and he wont be posting huge rebound numbers if he is guarding a 3 or stretch 4. hgomez seemed a good rebounder, but not a rim protector. they need a PG and to find a home for melo. problem is, his game fits nowhere and with no one, which speaks volumes about his value.I would put it above 50/50.
Porzingas has a very intriguing skill set and he is still very young, but outside of his first couple months as a rookie he has been a mostly average player with a very unorthodox game. That might be the product of the Knicks and their terrible brand of basketball, but he is nowhere near the level of some of the other young big in the NBA (KAT, Jokic, Embiid). At this point of his career he is moderately high usage, moderately low efficiency scorer that has a lot of empty calories on defense and rebounds poorly compared to his peers. I've said that I like him in this thread and I think he has a very good career ahead of him, but he needs a lot of work before he is an all-nba type player.
the Knicks have to be bottom 4 or 5 franchise right now in terms of outlook for the next 5-8 years no? I mean there is kind of no way they get better and if they can avoid getting worse, at best i think i think they are barely a playoff team. It is good Jackson hasn't sold his future 1st round picks, but the Knicks have so far to go you can't even see a path.what i would say about that is that KP was severely hampered being paired with melo and rose. he regressed last year and rightly so with 2 ball black holes on the floor. he is 7'3" and runs the floor, has a real good handle and shoots the 3. he needs a pass first PG that can kick and a low post guy that will draw a double. he reminds me of dirk, who won with Kidd. though he is 7'3" he is not a C and he wont be posting huge rebound numbers if he is guarding a 3 or stretch 4. hgomez seemed a good rebounder, but not a rim protector. they need a PG and to find a home for melo. problem is, his game fits nowhere and with no one, which speaks volumes about his value.
Too soon.was watching a mock draft and saw that our twolves retook jonny flynn at 7.
Is this about Melo or KP? If KP I disagree if this guy puts on some muscle the sky is limit for him, he could be Dirk with defense.what i would say about that is that KP was severely hampered being paired with melo and rose. he regressed last year and rightly so with 2 ball black holes on the floor. he is 7'3" and runs the floor, has a real good handle and shoots the 3. he needs a pass first PG that can kick and a low post guy that will draw a double. he reminds me of dirk, who won with Kidd. though he is 7'3" he is not a C and he wont be posting huge rebound numbers if he is guarding a 3 or stretch 4. hgomez seemed a good rebounder, but not a rim protector. they need a PG and to find a home for melo. problem is, his game fits nowhere and with no one, which speaks volumes about his value.
So then he can make 40 million a year on his next contract. This guy is gonna be a super star. Just got to wait another 5 years or so for the rest of his game to come along
