2017-18 NBA (Playoffs): A gasping, wheezing thread begs message board poster arguing how Jordan never lost a Finals to just let it die in peace (1 Viewer)

I disagree with everyone throwing around Jae Crowder frivolously in trade deals. The guy plays awesome defense and is a perfect fit for that team.

Trading for Porzingus would wreck that team. You already have a soft big man who shoots 3s in Al Horford.

No point to dismantle a team that went to the Eastern Conference finals for Porzingus...
Have you watched the NBA recently?

Local radio saying Celts might have something in the works to get #7 from Wolves(flip the conditional pick they just got from Philly), Phil wants two picks in top 10 of this draft apparently(not including their own #8)

Lol, yeah, I actually make a lot of money handicapping the NBA.

HBU? YOU WATCH?
Yes I do, and KP isn't soft at all. Crowder is nothing more than a good role player, Celtics need difference makers to compete with the Cavs and to not be passed by the up and coming teams in the East.

Crowder

33.1 minutes, 13.6 PPG, 6.4 RPG, 2.7 APG, 0.3 BPG

Porzingis

32.8 minutes, 18.1 PPG, 7.2 RPG, 1.5 APG, 2 BPG

Horford

33.9 minutes, 15.1 PPG, 5.4 APG, 0.8 BPG

I'm not buying the hype.

Gonna miss the draft for the first time since i can remember, pretty sad about this.

Eta: i wonder what durant is doing right now.

Was listening to Wojnarowski on the Dan Patrick show this morning. He was saying Porzingis wants to stay in NY and can't believe he's on the trade block.

The big thing about Crowder is his contract status.  He's under control for three more seasons for $7M-$8M.

You just posted basic 1985 stats and thought that was good enough? Did you get those off the back of a basketball card?
and compared a 7'3" 21 year old to a small forward, and a 6'11" guy that you couldn't slide a piece of paper under his feet when he jumps.

Are you really that dumb to show a couple highlights of a guy getting dunked on to call him soft? Mutombo got dunked on a lot too, I guess he was soft.
I'm not dumb, you said "KP isn't soft at all" when I remember him getting dunked on all year.

You know its bad when a 31 year old Al Horford dunks on you.

I offered statistics and visual evidence, you offer some lame emoji.

I guess Porzingis is an elite player because you say so, you haven't really offered anything other than opinion. But you laugh when I offer hard data and empirical evidence?
You offered crap stats, by the way the guy I like is only 21, and is 7'3" and you offered highlights. It was horrible.

Loving the rumor mill...the other X factor is the gossip that Ainge loves Smith and this is almost exactly where you need to be to get him...I want Porzingas but would have zero issues if they came out of tonight with Smith and either Tatum or Jackson...

Hopefully he learns a lesson about skipping exit interviews with a legend like Phil Jackson...

Porzingas is only 21 years old and is building his body up. He was a rail when he was drafted so he's already made some progress there.

I made the mistake engaging him, don't be dumb like me.
Lol, no you're problem is that you can't have a conversation. Instead of actually talking about how Porzingis might fit with the Celtics you used emojis then brought up Shaq randomly...

You know who else skipped an exit interview with Phil?

Shaq.
I heard the interview with Trautwig and Phil and he said no one ever skipped one of these with him before...sounded pretty arrogant about it as well...he is such a loose cannon...I can't believe one of his reasons for dealing his best asset (by far) is an exit interview...

I'm just not a believer I guess. I've seen him play and don't really see a game breaker.

They do need a better center but I wouldn't trade core guys that brought them to the Eastern Conference Finals for him.

can you have a normal conversation in any thread?
Rud, I started talking statistics. Look how msudaisy responded and get back to me.

I wouldn't say that someone responding back to actual statistics about players involved with a trade with a laughing emoji makes me the person incapable of having a normal conversation.

He has a rare skillset for a guy his size. He's young and was considered a project when drafted. Calling him "soft", is a bit hyperbolic, but admittedly he will need to add weight to his frame (which he has done since being drafted) in order to take the next step.

He has shown "game breaking" ability but does need to be more consistent and show he can remain healthy - but the upside is tremendous. There is a reason you are seeing a frenzy created as teams are lining up to try and fleece a crazy old man out of a valuable asset.

I'm just saying, first she tags me in a comment as a punchline to an unemployment joke. Which I let slide because whatever. Then instead of having a conversation with me about Porzingis as a player...

She responds with emojis mocking me, but clearly I'm the one incapable of having a normal conversation.
