2017 College Football Thread: Hawaiian QB devastated to find out Jesus was "kinda rooting for Georgia" (2 Viewers)

I don’t know why Auburn keeps trying to throw deep. If Stidham isn’t running for his life, he’s overthrowing the WR by 10 ft.

You have a great kicker, 1st and 10 on the 40 and can’t move it a little bit forward to try and tie the game?

this Auburn v Georgia game is scintillating

can't wait to watch the loser of this one in a rock fight with Wisconsin on Jan 1

This is the part of college football that boggles my mind.    The qb play in the so called "big time conferences" looks so bad and unable to move the ball.  But, yet they are given the benefit of the doubt of the defense being so strong.

I know Miami is likely in if they win, but they'd be the weakest BCS Playoff team ever if in, right? Say, Miami wins tonight. Would any of you bet real money on them over 'Bama or OSU on a neutral site? I'd figure most of you would want at least at TD to to even consider it.

If you're picking teams based on betting, then Alabama should be the #1 seed.  To answer your question I wouldn't bet on Miami or Wisconsin to be honest.

Not sure. Michigan St was pretty weak too but maybe last year’s Ohio st as the worst?  They didn’t win their conference and then got shut out.

If we’re going by results and not name recognition, that wasn’t a good team.

Honest question, I’m not sure...how many QBs in the NFL from the B12 v SEC?

No. Michigan State.

They'd be +9 or 10 to OSU and probably +14 to Bama.

Edit: they probably are slightly better than Wisconsin though.

Honestly letting vegas pick the 4 best teams and setting up the bracket for the lowest point spread combined would suit me. Who would really be against this.

Why even play the season? Vegas can pick the 4 in August and we can be done with the sport before summer ends.

Or it could be a real playoff where teams can play their way in instead of humans picking them based on random criteria.

I have said since day 1 pick 3 of 5 top conference title winners and let somebody pick the 4th. I would be fine if Vegas managed that.

FML I have a patient who was on hospice and a big Wisconsin fan who was hoping to live long enough to see them in the playoffs.  Well, he passed last night peacefully with his family at his side.  Will miss the conversations and #### we gave each other about our teams.   So if you don't have anyone to pull for in the Wisky/Ohio game, drink a cold one and root along with me and Art tonight.    GB
For Art!!!  :suds:

Okay, he got beat by a girl. It happens. But the simple fact that he can't throw a ball means his father should be disowning himself.
Good point.  I just pulled my 15 year old out of his room my his ear buds and made him throw with me in the rain.  He's very puzzled, but he's at least got a passable spiral now.
