Wiggins would be really making a case for MVP (if the Warriors in) if Curry wasn't so awesome the first 4 games.
He has really been a difference-maker the past couple of games. 17 & 16 in game 4 and 22 & 12 so far tonight.Wiggins at both ends
He didn't want to let Tatum take a practice shot after bricking those FTsGreen is so stupid.
Smart is the 2nd oldest player in the rotation at 28For as talented as they are, the Celtics are so maddeningly inconsistent. Not just game-to-game but quarter-to-quarter.
Worked out wellHe didn't want to let Tatum take a practice shot after bricking those FTs
True, but they aren't new to the playoffs or deep runs in the playoffs. They shouldn't have so many of these games like this.Smart is the 2nd oldest player in the rotation at 28
they're so young
Yep. He’s a tool. Not a foul. Should have been on Curry. As much as a tool Draymond is…the wasn't a foul.
Funny moment, I agree. But, the Warriors are winning right now. Celtics are letting these antics get to them IMO.LOL at the announcer proclaiming that the Celtics have to stop the nonsense while a Golden State player is doing push-ups on the court in the background.
GSW fan here. It was a foul. A to B contact.Yep. He’s a tool. Not a foul. Should have been on Curry.
I heard they have championship DNA.Everything going the Warriors' way.
Half of those TOs from Brown and Tatum too. Just not going to get it done that way.18-6 TO advantage for GS. That's legit the entire story this series.
Not a Boston fan, but why do you care?So when BOS fans complain about TOs do you guys give credit to the other defense or just saying BOS gave it away?
It is a combo. They have some really bad unforced errors. Maybe not this game, but there have been several games in these playoffs where have just thrown games away.So when BOS fans complain about TOs do you guys give credit to the other defense or just saying BOS gave it away?
>>Jayson Tatum has 95 turnovers this playoffs, the most by a player in a single postseason ever. <<Half of those TOs from Brown and Tatum too. Just not going to get it done that way.

Maybe he should complain to himself.>>Jayson Tatum has 95 turnovers this playoffs, the most by a player in a single postseason ever. <<

Agreed he looks hurt stillnot making excuses, but anybody who thinks JayTay has any feeling in his shoulder aint paying attention
The Celts shot 34% to the Warriors 22% on threes. That isn’t why the Celts lost tonight.Celtics live and die by the 3 and the 3 alone
All too often

It's not even analysis, it's reciting statistics. It's not meant to be that deep. You're getting worked up over nothing my guy.Everyone keeps repeating the stat, but does it really mean anything? League average TO per game is roughly 14.
So obviously if a team turnovers the ball above average they will likely lose. If they do it less they will likely win. It's part of the Four Factors for a reason.
It just seems like such lazy analysis to me.
In reference to today's game. I would say a lot of the TO were forced by the Warriors D. Sometimes, it is unforced TOs, but I think merely pointing to TO totals is not very informative.
I think what Boston did defensively played a big part of it. Was discussing the series earlier with a colleague and he thought BOS had to get out of drop coverage, at least early, and not letting him get into a rhythym. They were denying him hard all over the court, hard switching and even hedging a second guy at him limiting his early touches. He accepted it early and let the others play 4v4 in space. I thought Kerr would make an adjustment at the half and they would blow it open but that didn't happen. As the game tightened he seemed to force some shots but ended making some nice assists and a runner late. If BOS can repeat the defense on Curry they are still in this.GS winning with Curry missing every 3 has to hurt.
I think part of it is the Warriors scheme. BOS is driving into crowds and making kickouts from deep in the paintTrue
Guess what I'm trying to say is they don't make the effort to score from inside enough
Settling for threes, whether they make them or not, isn''t the best balance to win games
i wondered why, in the 2nd half of Game 2, Tatum went back to the mid-court start to his drives that he practiced the whole first half of the season, his discarding of which was a big part of the Celtics turnaround. i have since decided that its cuz he's doing everything by memory, that theyre shooting up the shoulder joint so much that there's either pain or no sensation at all up there.Agreed he looks hurt still
