2021 Philadelphia Eagles - Queued up a playlist of our greatest zits throughout the season for final game (4 Viewers)

And a lot of Wentz talk kind of hides how well Mac Jones has done this year too. The kid looks good.

Spoke too soon there's still a few clowns. Not sure how Pittman was DQ'd after getting cheap shot by Van Noy from behind. Guess they got Pittman for head butting with his helmet and ejecting a player on both teams to get more control of the game 🤷‍♂️
Watching all of the play and the play previous Pittman absolutely earned his ejection. He was every bit as out of control

Yep, didn’t see this coming with the way the season started but Taylor is a beast and Carson is managing the games well. Welp, better than a high second.  :hifive:
Nah, even after that bad start it looked like they'd be within a game of .500 by their bye week. Beating NE and the Bills are quality wins tho, but catching the Titans is still a tall order - if they have to go on the road it'll be tough in the playoffs.
Still - solid defense, great run game, and keep Wentz from having to put the game on his back - thats a winning formula.

I still think Reich is a genius. He got us a sb and might get the Colts one. I wouldn't be shocked at all if they won the sb this year (but am clearly cheering against them every game)

Genius might be strong, but yea no question he's a great head coach.  F'n Josh McDaniels.

Im a Wentz guy but he looks awful tonight

Also I forgot to put this in my response but I was mostly taking a shot at the fans who were busting on how we got a 2nd rounder and how it won't become a first and don't get any hopes up "He'll be out for the season by week 5" crowd. I mean its been rough year for that bunch. I mean a lot of these guys are also Hurts Stans who thought he'd light it up and hasn't either. I was just commenting I hope those folks are ok these days.

🤔 I didn’t think anything he did warranted an ejection but not 100% on the rules. IIRC he never threw a punch and the NE DB did.

Van Noy also pushed him from behind. Can't remember if the guy who was ejected also was the one who ripped his helmet off too. Like I said though I guess league saw it more as get both guys out of the game to get control of the game. Thats the only reason I see they did it

A lot of his success is th coaching staff around him. No way he starts off this good with an all rookie staff.

Could be but I also thought he should've been the 1st QB off the board honestly. I don't think Lawerence is this second coming QB once in a Gen guy everyone thinks he is. He has talent but Clemson had a stout defense while he was there. Lawerence missed a lot of throws that his receivers made some insane catches on that should've fallen incomplete or picked off. I think the dude has talent but I don't believe all the hype surrounding the guy either.

You’re actually proving why Jones has had early success.  Jones is getting a lot of undeserved praise considering the team and coach.

Carson Wentz has thrown for fewer than 200 yards in five of the Colts’ last six wins.

I mean he doesn't have to throw the ball 25 times a game when you got a stud RB who I might argue might be the best overall RB in the NFL outside of of a healthy Henrey and Cook. It's be coaching malpractice for Reich not to hand him the ball off. He still threw for 300 yds and 2 TDs vs the same TB defense or guy only managed 120 yds off of and most of that came in the 4th QTR of that game.

You can go back to my posts prior to the draft where I said similar about Mac Jones. This has nothing to do with what they are doing now. Ive been propping up Jones for awhile and saying I think people are overrating Lawerence.

Ok.  Still, the point remains the same.  This has nothing to do with a personal opinion.  Your previous post is telling of Jones’s success this season on the team.  He isn’t carrying that team.  He’s managing it.

Just wait until next week when right before the game WE get players that test positive or have to go into protocol and miss a game they otherwise would have played in as well as the NYG game 5 days later.

Can’t wait for our whole OLine to be added by Tuesday and the NFL makes us play.

Remember when we were looking at 3 high 1st round picks?  :lmao:
Colts was never going to stay that high, and I'm happy ours isn't that high.  I'd rather see our team learn to win then try to get a high pick.
Was hoping Miami would keep stinking tho :(   Deshawn Watson might need to find a new home.

NYT Upshot playoff model has been updated with Sunday results (thanks for nothing, Tampa) and our “new” schedule. Chances to secure one of the last 2 NFC playoff spots:

49ers 83%
Saints 45%
Vikings 24%
WFT 24%
Eagles 23%

Going to the game tomorrow with my son. It will be my first live game in a while,  but I'm not looking forward to freezing my buttocks off. :(

If there was one, tiny silver lining to the game being moved it's that the weather tomorrow night (mid-30's, low winds) is a bit better than what it was yesterday afternoon (high 20's, high winds.)

Also, if you're not taking SEPTA, get down there really early or try to grab a parking pass online and pay the extra above regular price to know you'll have a guaranteed place to park (there's currently none left on Ticketmaster, but it's always changing.)

With the Flyers game at the same time there probably won't be any cash parking in the Wells lots so the CBP lots will have both Flyers and Eagles fans competing for spots.

It's the odd game where game tickets are getting dumped for below face by people that can no longer go or don't want to do a night/cold game against an undesirable opponent but parking passes are in demand at higher than normal prices.

WFT G Brandon Scherff to the COVID list today. With new protocols put in over the weekend, he can still be eligible to play tomorrow if he is vaccinated, asymptotic, and tests negative before the game.

COVID life moves fast: 3 Flyers players and 2 team personnel now in COVID protocols. Might not be a Flyers game tomorrow night after all!

I have a reserved parking pass. I won the tix at our company Christmas party and the boss was nice enough to throw that in too.

Never expected Indy to be high. Anyone who thought that really doesn't know Indy or how good the team still is. MIA was more of a surprise and we're an avg team at best. I think to even get in we gotta win out and honestly I don't see us doing that. I also don't have a good feeling about tomorrow. This is a game WE SHOULD WIN that in the last couple of yrs we've found dumb ways to lose.

I'm going to dreading the cold and gut feeling we don't do well tomorrow and won't be a fun game to watch at all. Hopefully I'm wrong and I'm usually good in the cold at a game more so at home outside

According to John Clark Flyers tried to change the time of their game but couldn't. Not sure if I'm taking SEPTA or not. My coworkers husband with his brother went to the 76ers game (they came from Bristol) and she said it took them 1 hr to find parking and everything. Not sure why it took so long. If we take SEPTA my buddy might park behind the tower theatre at 69th street and we'd take SEPTA in at least. Still not sure how we are doing this. He changed his schedule to get home by 4 at the earliest. If you're coming into the city it's suggested to shoot to get there by 5-5:30 at the latest.

As of right now theres a game but as of 2 hrs ago NHL will suspend the season WED and go on a short break. Still hope no flyers game tomorrow though. I'm hoping theres not just to help traffic if we do end up

7 WFT coaches will miss the game tomorrow due to COVD protocols.

Ron Rivera was pretty upset earlier in the season about unvaccinated players on the team considering everyone knows about his Cancer and he's immune compromise. Really hope Ron isn't one of the coaches. Never hope anyone is but in this case a guy like Rivera you hope isn't one of them

well I have 3 players going in that game tomorrow night in each of two playoffs games....need Philly to play at least OK. (Sanders X2, Goedert X2, Eagles DST X2). Playing against one McLaurin (who he could swap in Devonta Smith for). Don't need huge numbers but cant take bad ones either

Justin Fields doing his best garbage time Hurts Impersonation where he makes his stats at the end of a game look much better then they were. At least we didn't give up 1st rounders and don't have one till 23 and drafted Justin Fields.

In the same game and interesting stat Kurt Cousins throws for under 90s yds 2 TDs and a INT. Cook under 100 YDS rushing and 0 TDS and under 100 yds from scrimmage when coming into tonight career avg of 116 Total YDS from scrimmage. Very Underwhelming game where we needed some help from CHI and couldn't even get it though.

I don't have anyone. Opponent has Gibson and I'm up 31PTs I just need Gibson not to go off on us. I just got into the playoffs with a 4 game win streak as a 6th seed and the top teams in my league have all lost big name players in the last few weeks do to covid or injury. If I win tomorrow (Other first round match is decided) the 5 and 6 seeds would've beaten 3-4 in my playoffs. Was kind of hoping I wouldn't make the playoffs because I had a really good chance with my team to win the losers bracket and get the #1 pick next year in our keepers league. Either bracket winning for me is a miracle at this point.
