2021 Philadelphia Eagles - Queued up a playlist of our greatest zits throughout the season for final game (3 Viewers)

Tyree Jackson has a fractured bone in his back. Should be around an 8-10 week recovery.
Stinks. Was having a good camp. Now they have to decide whether to IR him now (which means he can't come back this season), or keep him on the 53 and put him on the regular IR after final cuts (where he can return anytime after week 3.)

My guess is they put him on the 53, then IR, and target him coming back after Week 6 and the trading deadline which is when I think they are hoping to move Ertz.

Just IR him for the year.  Let Ertz play out his last year and don't rush him back.

Yeah I think he makes the 53 and they just sign Rodgers back after they short term IR him.

To be fair, multiple reporters have mentioned the extra work Sanders is putting in working on catching the ball.  This does not appear to be a lack of effort.
I wasn't inferring he wasn't trying to put in the work and probably was the wrong usage by me. What I meant was productively and in practice he isn't doing much in way or results to lead he's gotten better

Will be interesting what we do at WR then.

Only 1 (maybe 2) of Arcega-Whiteside, Fulgham, Andre Patton, and John Hightower will make the team.

And it's sounding like JJ is outplaying Fulgham by a large margin so far in camp (Sorry Insein)

Not sure why I'd be upset. Fulfham was a flash in the pan who had a hot hand. He should have been given reps over Alshon last year but if the dude can't beat out JJAW for a job, he doesn't deserve to be on the team.

I’d be more shocked if they got rid of Hightower. Teams usually keep cheap speed and he opened as a starter last year. He’s another that with better coaching could be a good player for splash plays

I think there’s enough take on JJAW for them to see he sucks too

How has Hurts looked? Is his passing improving? Anyone trusting him as a cheap QB1 option? You’d obviously need a higher end QB2 as insurance, in case the plug gets pulled.

Reviews have been mixed in camp and after his first game.  You'd be banking a ton having him as a QB1 IMO.  If anything he could be the upside QB2

He's more a QB2 you draft low and hope he starts churning out some big games mid year kind of like Murray did in 2019. Insurance against your QB1 sucking or getting hurt.

He's going around QB 12.  In a group with Stafford, Tannehill, Burrow and Ryan. Because of his running totals. Best top 5 potential, and best bust potential.

Mixed reviews. I'm concerned with his lack of arm strength and it's telling watching it live. He's a nice cheap QB1 as he could steal ya a week here and there but he might be really inconsistent too. Definitely would need high end QB2 insurance there.

Arryn Siposs is Kicking tonight with Elliot out with ankle injury. Zach Ertz is the holder. Zech McPherson is playing for SLay. No Huntley so expect a lot of Gainwell tonight

Just watched the first game.....was impressed by Gainwell and curious to see what he does tonight. Will be nice to get a look at Devonta and Raegor as well.

Starting to wonder if this team hasn't been sold just a little short. NOT a good team, but maybe not a bad one either?

Anyway...we're off!

punter looks good 🥴

only half joking, had some big ones in game 1 and another one there

the stat lines look awful, but seems like Pats had more higher stringers in the game the entire time, and were playing less vanilla looks/packages then the Eagles were. hard to get a read that way. Hurts a late scratch certainly didn't help anything

Not an Eagles fan but how does Fulgham not even make the team? Dude balled out for a good stretch last year (I realize they were short handed)

Everything I've read this week has been saying how the Eagles got the better of them in both practices and how NE's roster is looking pretty bad. This was probably their way to look better on TV. Either way, the Eagles have no depth. I still think they're going to be better than people expect, but if they get hit with the injury bug again they're going to look like crap quickly.

The knock on him even last year was that he dogged it in practice. If he's doing that this year with a new coaching staff, he's fast tracking his way out of town.
