2021 Philadelphia Eagles - Queued up a playlist of our greatest zits throughout the season for final game (2 Viewers)

That's unfortunate. This guy was an absolute garbage person. After he left and saw some of the stuff come out on him I was glad Chip traded him. He was probably the biggest fraud during the Riley Cooper N Bomb incident because he was the biggest offender of the N Word shouting it at everyone and anyone in ear shot. Then you got how he treats the ladies and how he treated his baby mama. Unfortunately I won't be there on Sunday because I'd honestly being booing this clown.

Yeah I'm a little surprised they're honoring him.  Doesn't seem like a great PR move.

I'm going to only talk about this Chris Simms report of Lurie green lighting a Watson trade and how the Eagles aren't sold on Hurts as an Origination.

First lets talk the Hurts part since it's the only thing true

Hurts: Eagles not being sold on Jalen Hurts is true. Again I said back in Jan I got confirmation 70-75% of the decision makers didn't believe Hurts was the Future Franchise guy here. Talked to someone today who said that number is rising by the week and this coaching staff is playing it safe with Hurts. They think the defense as the year moves on improves with the new scheme and all and plays well enough to not allow the 40Plus Dal hung up on them. They won't bench Hurts though as to them that could negatively effect Hurts trade value. If the Eagles get another QB Hurts will probably not be here especially if it's a trade for one.

Lurie Green lighting Watson trade: Nothing more then click bait with Hurts sucking and the team not playing well. Drives a narrative with the Eagles having a ton of picks and struggling QB who a lot of people know the org isn't sold on as the guy already. Lurie won't green light this trade yet for numerous factors.

1. Eagles aren't trading for Watson unless it's for players and conditional picks or incentive based. For example 3rd rounder that could become a 1st or 2nd depending if Watson or the team reached certain goals.

2. Hou has not come down on their demands of 3 1st rounders plus 2 impact players despite the Watson legal issues

3. There's no ruling on the legal issues and people doubt anything is resolved by the new league year next year.

Given all of this, Simms reported nothing new on this situation involving Hurts or Watson. People shouldn't give a 2nd thought to this especially since Simms most of the time reports click bait material and gives hot takes that he knows people will click on

Yeah if people thought DJAC was bad Shady makes him look like an angel.

Then again this is the same city who puts AI on a pedestal he beat his wife, put a gun to her head and threw her out of the house naked and people still act like he's a god here.

Clowns like these 2 do not deserve praise other then hey great player garbage human being were done talking about them now. It's no different then the people who worship Floyd Mayweather who has his own issues with women and a history of it. Don't get people in these regards, some how their talent overrides the horrible person they are? That's for a different topic in a different thread.

Just surprised they did this. I'd have no problem if they did this with Vick to an extent. I never agreed he should be in the league after what he did, however the dude changed for the better since prison, turned his life around and is an example of prison reform and positive change. Shady hasn't changed since day 1. Still can't believe I ever wanted this guy when he was at Pitt.

I mean, no one is or was. Pretty much everyone said that its unlikely that Hurts is the franchise guy, but what the hell lets give him a shot.
If the Eagles weren't sold - they could have drafted Fields or Mac Jones, so at a minimum they were  either not sold on either of them as well, or they at least liked Hurts enough to give him a shot.

I think with the draft they just didn't have enough time to scout QBs. Obviously they thought Wentz would stay and when his agent and him wanted out in January you can't start scouting QBs right there. I know people in there weren't sold on Fields.

The whole situation during the off season kind of mucked things up. If they knew Wentz was leaving they probably would've started sooner. And again when I was told how much they didn't like Hurts Wentz was still the QB and him staying here was a real possibility. This was why a lot of people in the Org didn't want to trade Wentz as they simple believed Hurts was just gonna be a quality back up which with Wentz hereis all they needed from Hurts.

So I think when you take that all into account we're left where we are today. That and I think they really loved Smith or Pitts and were looking at one of the CBs. After Wentz left they tried trading up for Zach Wilson and thats where the trade back for came into play from talks with teams and getting more picks. After they realized they couldn't get Wilson they traded back.

It's easy to say now why didn't they draft this or that QB (kind of glad they didn't draft Fields as he has major bust capability compared to the others), but when you look at timeline of events you see it wasn't that simple. They were hoping with a new coaching staff Wentz would stay and they could get back on track but the real issue is the guy at GM a lot of people don't trust in terms of agents and players.

Steelers fan chiming in because I have Hurts (who I am starting against the Chiefs)

Hurts is not the problem. You want Ben?  Straight up for Hurts all day.

Wentz got beat by Napolean Dynamite and is currently making the Indy kicker look good while J Taylor languishes. Would you rather watch that slow death?  He's Andy Dalton II. That does not work in today's NFL.  The day you move on from that is the day you are closer to winning.

Reagor, Goetz, and Ertz is a decent amount of talent to move the ball.

RB's are by committee. Always OK with that unless you get a stud.

You lack any semblance of continuity and you are far too impatient.

Hurts - he's clearly a poor mans Tyler Murray.  His plays w/ his legs are currently better than those with his arm but jfc give him a sec to get better.  Yes he will lose a game sometimes.  Again - you want Ben?

TE's - uh....yeah they good.

WR's - well you never got a replacement for tall guy. That was an easy mistake to fix.'

just throwing #### out there peeps  - i'm starting hurts because i predict 50-49 chiefs win and hurts either throws or runs for every Philly TD.

They have never let anyone wear 25 since he left, and he's their all-time rushing leader, so not exactly out of left field that the organization would do this.

The line for the game is pretty interesting. If seen KC -7 and -8.5 but this feels like a 14-21 point KC win. Reid coming home, after a loss, against a hurt Eagles team etc.

I'm already in the mind set of just enjoying the opportunity to see Mahomes sling 5 TDs in person on Sunday. Like when I got to see Jordan drop 48 points in 3 quarters at the Spectrum in '96.

Agreed and I’m hoping traffic is good since most won’t stay for the 4th lol. I absolutely hate the traffic but love hearing the fans lol

This is where I'm at, taking the family on Sunday.  Should be nice weather too.

Probably taking the express from Fern Rock as usual but busted my ankle on Saturday and trying to do as little gimpy limping as possible.

We get to park in M/N lot right across from the stadium by the restaurant depot. It’s a gift and curse and my commute home is totally dependent upon which way the cops let me turn. If they let me make a left and stay on Darien I’m home in 15-20 minutes. If they make me go right toward Pattinson it’s an hour to an hour and a half.

Yep, that reserved N lot part is where I have been the last few years. Get so pissed when I can't go left out of there and around the back of the Linc and Wells Fargo to get right on 95 south in under 5 minutes. 😠

I'd take Ben on one leg over Hurts any day and twice on Sundays. I've never been a fan of Hurts going back to Freshman year of college

Huh? Is this a reference to Nick Foles? if So Foles despite winning a SB a lot of people I think have tunnel vision. He was OK when he played for Wentz. He flat out sucked after Wentz tore his ACL most of the fanbase was calling a 1 and done in the playoffs. He was pretty avg the rest of the way here besides the playoffs where he got hot. Not sure if you've watched Indy's games or not but their Offensive Line is terrible and missing key guys. Most Colts fans believe Wentz has played well and the Offensive Line is a huge issue

Reagor, Goetz, and Ertz is a decent amount of talent to move the ball.

For where Reagor was drafted he should be doing better and we could've drafted Jefferson instead. Ertz is past his prime and Goedert is good if we had a QB who threw over the middle

RB's are by committee. Always OK with that unless you get a stud.

Huh where is this coming from?

You lack any semblance of continuity and you are far too impatient.

Again above answer

I'm glad you are enthusiastic on Hurts but I'm beginning to wonder if you are just going by Fantasy biased here. Have you watched any of his starts? How much of his college other then Oklahoma did you really watch? He' continually makes the same mistakes he's made since day 1 of College. That's not good. Again Yeah I want Ben right now. He probably at least sees his TE wide open.

TE's - uh....yeah they good.

Don't think anyone here has said otherwise

WR's - well you never got a replacement for tall guy. That was an easy mistake to fix.'

just throwing #### out there peeps  - i'm starting hurts because i predict 50-49 chiefs win and hurts either throws or runs for every Philly TD.

Huh again not sure where you are going with this. Honestly not sure what the point of any of this post was other then to brag how you have Hurts on your fantasy team, low-key insult our football itellgience and glad hand the QB on your fantasy team. Thanks for stopping by though

Really gonna enjoy Hill have like 2 or 3 TDs for my fantasy team and possible 100 yds REC plus bonus for my 0 for fantasy team to help a hopeful win on Sunday honestly.

Oh and Seeing Big Red at the Linc again is gonna be fun too. I'll be missing most of this game do to work till 7:30 but I'll watch what I can on my phone

If anything, the old stand-by of us getting killed by the other team's TE every game has been turned around (so far). Pitts and Kittle were held to a combined 8 catches for 48 yards, 0 TDs.
Spoke too soon on this with Dalton Schultz getting 6 catches, 80 yards and two touchdowns last week. And now we get Travis Kelce…

Colts are 0-3, and show no signs of turning it around, and now Q.Nelson is on IR. As long as they don't bench Wentz, its looking like a top-10 and maybe top-5 overall pick for the Eagles.

Interesting piece of news I got from my cousin today. I knew my Uncle ended up with my Pop-Pop's season tickets. One of the things I hate about taking his tickets is there's no family discount and I have to pay him face value for them every time he asks me to take the seats despite the fact my Uncle makes more money then anyone on my Mom's side of the family or my Dad's. Anyway I saw my cousin selling tickets in another section and asked whos they were. Figured it was a friend of his who couldn't go or something to the rest of the year.

Well he told me they are their seats. Apparently my Uncle put himself on the Season ticket waiting list despite having his Dad's tickets handed down to him (which we all knew he was always taking anyway My pop-pop wanted it that way him being the oldest sibling). Now I don't know how long he was on the list, but the Eagles called him saying they had these seats and asked if he wanted to take another pair so he said yes. Thought it was interesting but at the same time if they can't sell then my Uncle can take someone who doesn't always go and my Cousin can take someone as well. I'd take a few of the games if I could find someone but at the same time I think given I'm family I should be able to take the tickets for free if they wanted too given the money my uncle makes. I've never confronted him on it nor really want to and don't feel comfortable enough saying something to my cousin about it. I think it's great they got another pair but honestly I checked ticket master and saw I could get similar seats for almost half that price.

Either way now 4 season tickets in families hands now. Most the family has been in possession of since my Pop-Pop had the whole row at the Vet for the Business.

Cal McNair gets all the incompetent-owner spotlight right now, and deservedly so, but Steve Ross is up there in that category and has been for a while.

Steve Ross also voted down the new stadium in Oak because he had property in Oak he thought the value would go down or property in Vegas that would go up with a new stadium there. Either or he was one of the big owners on the Oakland Stadium issue

Eagles started 14 different offensive line combinations last season — but never had a game during which they were missing four of their Week 1 starters.
True, but Dillard was the Week 1 starter until he got injured in camp, so even their Week 1 starters were starting 1 man down, so by week 6 they were starting 4 guys that weren’t their original starters.

Either way, big mess. Again.

Would you guys roll the dice with Miles Sanders getting a get right game after last week or avoid for Z Moss this week?
was on the Sanders train for today, but with the Lane Johnson news I think I'd go the safe(er) route in Moss.

Unfortunately for me I don't have good alternates in most leagues

There's....a chance....we are making too much of this.

KC hasn't exactly been good on the D-line. Still see a shootout. Not a win, but a shootout

Sirianni does something Eagles fans are unaccustomed to- adjusts-and catches KC off guard and a bonafide shootout occurs.  Eagles edge out KC 30-28.
