2021 Philadelphia Eagles - Queued up a playlist of our greatest zits throughout the season for final game (2 Viewers)

When Kelce retires I hope Lurie retires his number immediately.

Even this season we can lose a QB, RB, or anyone to injury but when Kelce went out we were like "Oh Sh**!!!"

Saw a blurb that Minshew is sharing first team reps.  I can see both sides of the argument of starting Jalen or starting Minshew.  Just fearful that if Minshew plays and plays well (albeit against WTF practice squad) it’ll be a full blown QB controversy.

Hurts has a high ankle sprain according to Sirianni and Tim McManus reported on radio. Those can be tricky and could heel in a week or 2 or take up to a month if not more if not careful

i think i would rather face a whole army than possibly say something negative in front of Kelce, Mailatta, Dickerson, Brooks and probably any of the other OL on this team. i mean imagine some fan in some other stadium say something nasty to Lane as Kelce and Mailatta walk by. Sheesh:

When SUperfan Giovanni (The Big Wentz fan who's video when meeting him went viral) had a pic with a Wentz Colts jersey on posted on twitter earlier in the offseason a whole bunch of clowns went after him. Lane and some other Eagles publicly called out a few of these fans. I'll just say it wasn't pretty for those going after him.

We've already seen Mailatta in action when he's PO'd and protecting his QB from some unnecessary stuff from an opposing team.

Just a hunch and no inside type Info but I think Minshew is quietly gonna start this Sunday. Just something about this whole thing doesn't seem right. Hurts ankle at the time it happened the team acted like it wasn't significant. Team says high chance he started NYG game and then we hear Minshew Starting. Bye week comes and goes with Sirianni saying Hurts is the starter. Vote of confidence? Today we find out it's a high ankle sprain given that the two are splitting reps and Minshew didn't do bad and looked like he had more command of the offense then Hurts (yes it was the Jets but it was night an day honestly compared to Hurts), that I think the team is ok going with Minshew another game. Especially against a team who might has half a practice squad in the starting line up.

Good move and the Eagles can use the excuse they didn't need Hurts this week if we do win against a depleted WFT squad. However a part of me sees Minshew possible starting the last few weeks on a hunch. I could be completely wrong but something about this whole thing doesn't seem right

I mean, they probably know his mobility is a huge part of his game, and without that - his passing doesn't yet give them as good a chance to win.  Hurts will start again when he's healthy, but he's not a good enough passer to justify starting at 70%.

Yes there's no reason to start Hurts if he's hurt. Minshew round 2 against the JV Skins team. That will really start the QB controversy fires.

And that's a huge issue. If you can't play the position that you're suppose to well you probably shouldn't be playing unless as a back up.

Interesting been seeing a lot of tweets or quotes from Kempenski, McMullen, and others saying they believe the Eagles are gonna try and upgrade at QB this offseason. Now I don't now if thats their personal opinion or not who knows

Well they stocked up on first round picks for a reason

Sure, I think pretty much everyone agrees that where he's at now is backup level, and to develop into a true starter he'll need to improve as a passer.  We've known this all along.  He's made *some* progress this year. If the Eagles don't upgrade the position this offseason, he'll have to make more for next year. I have no idea if he can continue to improve or not. His ceiling is still higher then Minshew, however.

NFL changed Covid protocols. Skins could get their players back if they pass the new requirements.

Eagles better come to play.

Personally I wanted to see how well we did against them at full strength. This is a pressure game and I wanted to see how everyone responds.

Yep and I could see them trading back for a 1st in 2023 and going with Hurts/Minshew (if they end up trading someone this offseason). Unless there's a QB they love who drops to those picks or they fall in love with I could see them just sticking it out another year and load up on other needs. That way 2023 comes around and the QB coming in is coming into a good situation

I don't think I ever said Minshew's ceiling is Higher. I just think he can run the offense more efficiently than Hurts.

Can this be considered the Body Bag Game Part II if my team already shows up in body bags? 🤔

Not gonna lie, I’m kind of morbidly curious to watch this game now. It’s gone so beyond the pale of ridiculousness for my Skins that it’s gotten interesting to see just how bad it will get.

At least the announcers will have no shortage of things to talk about once the game is over after the 1st quarter. They’ll have a great time talking about all the real jobs these guys have when they are not cosplaying as NFL players... like plus size male model and your WFT starting center Jon Toth.

Uh oh: Eagles Mystery Source Says Washington Postponement Has Been Discussed

I think this all winds up with Washington getting enough players back to avoid rescheduling the game, but still not enough to keep them from getting bulldozed on Sunday.

They will. Washington doesn't have much ground to stand on and Roger doesn't have any advantage of rescheduling especially for an organization already in huge controversy. Honestly it's amazing Washington's ownership at this point hasn't been Donald Sterling'd and kicked out. If they aren't gonna move the Raiders/Browns game what makes WFT think the NFL will move theirs.

IMHO I think we need to start punishing the Unvaxxed players with fines. This is a business and if the NFL actually cares about it's people and players who make them their $$$$ they'll start acting like a business

Toth is a former Eagle and former UK guy too.

While I agree  Philly will likely win this game (regardless of whether it's moved), the NFL now seems ready to go back on previous statements and move these games:  https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/12/17/seahawks-rams-washington-eagles-games-could-move-to-tuesday/

WFT still fairly ravaged with injuries (including non-Covaid ones), so advantage Philly either way....it may just take place on Tuesday...

Welp, that aged badly, quickly. Game is moving to Tuesday. Booooooooooooo.

How are you going to enforce that when vaxxed players are spreading it just as much if not more?

Going to go ahead now and call the next Giants game a loss. Moving to 4 days rest for a must win divisional game - oh well. Was fun while it lasted.

Would work for me honestly since I'm suppose to work that day late so I won't have to work too late if at all maybe work Sunday instead. I don't see how that could change much if the new rules states some of these guys could test negative and be back in 24 hrs By tues there might be even more

Will go down with the "Fog Bowl" in Eagles lore of games that coulda, shoulda, woulda, but for outside factors.

Eagles are apparently furious with the decision. Per someone I just talked to the Eagles were very emphatic if WAS couldn't play it should be a forfiet and the NFL is going back on their rules from prior

Oh great, there's also a Flyers game at Wells Fargo the same date/time. That has to be moved now, too, I would think. If not, traffic and parking will be a nightmare.

Just peachy I'm taking public transit but the guy I'm going with is driving.

Is there a way to transfer his ticket to him in case he can't get there in time? He might be coming straight from work

Just wait until next week when right before the game WE get players that test positive or have to go into protocol and miss a game they otherwise would have played in as well as the NYG game 5 days later.

I'm not sure "enforce" is the word you are looking for here. Enforcing is easy.  You make them pay the fine just like any other fine.

Yeah essentially a fine. I was going to go into mandatory vaccines and if a player isn't vaccinated and causes an outbreak like this team should have to forefiet or something instead plus a fine loss of picks etc. But I doubt that goes over well with the NFLPA. Not to get political here and will stay away from it as much but fans I don't think realize how many guys are anti Vaccination and other things that media wise wouldn't agree with on a certain side are. Not saying it's over Half the league but it's a lot more then people think. They just aren't vocal about it as much.

3 division games in 13 days all because a billion dollar company can’t put together proper protocols a couple years of seeing how this works :lmao:

I see that Jerry Jones stated that he “sees one day where they’ll stop testing people who don’t have symptoms” so this will be gone by next year at least.

There’s no “lol”….you have over 70% with one dose and 61% fully. It’s simple math at this point. The vaccinated are spreading it more now

A simple look at how this affecting games this week should provide some clarity.
