2022 NBA Roster Draft - This draft goes to 12! (2 Viewers)

There goes all my Cavs. Was desperately hoping that everyone was sleeping on Mobley and I could pair him with Steph in the third. He's already an elite defender with excellent bball IQ. Just always in the right position and never fouls, which is unheard of for a young big man. Still working on putting together the whole package on offense, but once he does, watch out.

And Garland has made a massive leap in his third year. Complete control of the offense. Excellent shooting paired with fantastic passing ability. A little undersized, so always going to need some help defensively. But the pairing with Mobley will maximize his potential and hide his weaknesses.
Never tell these guys who your favorite team is before it’s your turn to pick.

3.02  De’Aaron Fox, PG, Sack
still one of the best pick & roll points in the game, even tho its starting to look like he wont develop a shot. thought about him for my best pick & roll center, but decided SGA was my cutoff point on guards before grabbing Mobley

3.03 Mikal Bridges

With these super team drafts, you always have to worry about usage and team fit. With Kyrie and Butler shouldering the load on offense, we'll go with the ultimate 3 and D guy right now, draining 3s with ease and covering the best guy on the other team with his 7 foot wingspan. Butler and Bridges forms a pretty nasty duo on defense to help out with Kyrie's deficiencies.

Woulda been my guy if not for the infernal 3RR.

Halftime of the JV game.  Parkview is crushing Bolivar 31-14.

No future NBA players on the floor, but the first bucket was a dunk.

JV game ended 59-29 Parkview.

Varsity feature the #1 ranked team in class 5 (Bolivar), vs a talented but inconsistent class 6 school (Parkview).

Both teams feature some D-2 level talent with Bolivar's starting 5 being the biggest HS team I've ever been on the floor with.  They start 6'2", 6'4", 6'7", 6'8" and 6'8"...all cornfed white boys and not a ball handler among them.

Should be a good one.

I’m going with the best young player in the NBA, Ja Morant, the future superstar.
No matter what happens from here on out, you will have the coolest team. He's by far my favorite player. Been a huge fan since college. I should have bought rookie cards, he was a no doubt superstar.

2.20 Darius Garland, Lead Guard, Cavs

Speaking of Cleveland's one guard...and a Cavs run.  I'm sure some will see this as a reach, and I'm kind of afraid it is cause I know nothing.  But a lot of the nerds have him up there with Jrue and Dejounte.  I just see a very good scorer and passer who I think will do nothing but become more and more dynamic as we approach the playoffs.

@Jayrod
Was praying he fell.  GREAT pick.  And 91% free throws.

Bolivar won by 8.  Parkview tried to pound the air out of the ball, but just couldn't hit any 3's.

High schools are now allowed to institute a shot clock but it's up to the state.  Missouri is scared of change, but it needs to happen.  A half of basketball with only 15-20 possessions each is just boring for everyone.  The players don't like it and the fans don't like it.

How many calls did you blow?

So mad at Ume right now.

3.04 - Julius Randle -Stud PF

I was actually considering JR at 1.17, but DD was too much of a monster to pass up.  At 2.04 I had to take Murray, especially with the PG run in full effect.  I was surprised JR was still there in the 2nd. To get him in the 3rd....  I am really happy with this turn of events.  Pretty solid big three imo.

As for the Celtics, Tatum was having a decent game.  They are down one with like fifteen seconds to go, so he decides to jack up a three.  That's after he and coach blew the two for one by dribbling the length of the court before calling the timeout.  I want Tatum AND Coach gone.

Randle has followed up the best season of his career with a pretty gross one so far, probably why he fell so far.

Good thing Gobert doesn't need a pick and roll partner. The top 14 PnR ball handlers in terms of possessions/game are all picked. #### me.

His stats are down, but he still does his thing. Except for yesterday, that was fugly. Perfect fit for my team.

Not in fantasy hoop, but in REAL basketball, I would move Jayson Tradum for JR yesterday. Still 19-10-5 out of a PF in a DOWN year.

Keep trying to talk myself out of this guy ... but he does too many things well to get hung up on his drawbacks:

3.05: Jonas Valančiūnas, C New Orleans
