2022 Philadelphia Eagles - Leave Gannon in Arizona and let’s run through the NFC again in 2023. (3 Viewers)

Eagles, after trading for him, are signing wide receiver A.J. Brown to a four-year, $100 million extension that includes $57 million guaranteed, per a league source

i'm amazed that Cheifs or Packers weren't in on with a trade like that and could have landed AJ Brown. Still nervous about it......

good news with how this all played out too is i am pretty sure Honey Badger is coming to Philly. it was basically down to Baltimore and Philly, and the door is now pretty wide open for him to come in and start

Our secondary is going to be brutalized.. we need some major help there.  Love the weapons but I would love mathieu  to help bolster the defense.  Not a mathieu  fan, but definitely concerned.

they had to, had no choice at all. considering how hard they were going after Ridley, i just hope they did their homework. AJ Brown has been impressive but sporadically. Would have rather had DK Metcalf

I thought I saw it was Marquis brown if it's just AJ got paid its good DK is a head case though.

i don't know how i feel about this. Sure Brown is pretty fantastic, but the way the WR contracts went bonkers this year, i am nervous we overpay for him.

Guess we are sticking with Jalen for at least another year, that contract allows so much flexibility with the cap, it is way under-rated
Stop it with this "I don't know how I feel about this" nonsense. When you come over this weekend be prepared for a kick in the nuts. This is a solid move.

YEP!  Howie is so good at trades and awful at drafting WR's, so he just trades for one instead.  Brilliant.

lol, first game i will try to get on this Arcade cabinet will be tecmo bowl or a later version of Madden to test the theory out

Not sure I liked the move up. I've never been convinced it's worth paying multiple picks, even late ones, for a 1 or 2 spot bump to take a guy that MIGHT have been there at the original spot anyway. Just a bad practice, IMO.

The OTHER deal though....is a masterpiece. I would have been ok if that 3rd was GOING THE OTHER WAY. Absolute steal to get a WR of that caliber for LESS then a mid first. Yes, the contract is onerous....but not unusually so. All the top WRs are getting or will be getting similar deals.

Hard to believe a bunch of guys in here wanted Howie fired a couple years back. Guy might be average with his picks, but he's a master at trades!

ETA: I misheard/read the third. It IS going the other way. NOt as ecstatic, but still happy with it. WRs of his caliber don't come around every draft.

We got Davis and Brown, never parted with a 1st from next year and still have a 2-3-5 and 7 this year. Even after seeing the money for Brown I can’t say anything bad about today. Davis and Brown are day one players. Snag a DB with the 2 and that’s 3 day ones. This could very well be Howie best draft ever

Have I mentioned how disappointed I am with the Vikings punting on picking up a blue chipish player and trading down yet?

Eagles have four picks remaining:

2nd round (No. 51)
3rd round (No. 83)
5th round (No. 154)
7th round (No. 237)

I'd expect trade-backs (or player trades) to add more picks.
