2022 Philadelphia Eagles - Leave Gannon in Arizona and let’s run through the NFC again in 2023. (2 Viewers)

Kelce helped the Eagles evaluate Center talent

Cam Jurgens is his pick as the most like him- that is saying something. Yeah, it's not a sexy pick. And, yeah, we need CB help.

But good news is:

Landon Dickerson stays at G, where he has great chemistry with Mailata

We should have a replacement for Kelce next year

We are probably going to get Honey Badger

Or, he’s Sidney Jones 2.0.

Sidney Jones was never anything special which is why I never got the hype. Dean did a lot in a far better conference vs Better competition. Probably a top 1O guy too. I wouldn't have minded Jones in the 4th round I just thought 2nd round back then was too much for a guy coming off an achilles which is pretty serious for a guy who relied a lot on speed. Especially considering the guys they passed on in that 2nd round they could've had for that pick

- The biggest athletic beast in the last few years

- One of the best WR's in the NFL

- Kelce's replacement

- A stud 1st round talent LB

HOW-IE!  HOW-IE!

It's funny how we only draft SEC players now, lol.

Howie knows where the real talent in college football is. My philosophy has always been draft as many SEC players as you can and mix it in with B1G OL. QB's have fluctuated over the years at this point though.

Tenn takes Willis LOL I wouldn't have taken this guy till day 3 like 5-7 rounds. Absolute project at QB I wouldn't have touched with a 25 FT pole

Just for ####s and giggles someone did an advanced looked at W's per production. Despite playing better then Hurts in College Willis had a less Wins share then Jalen Hurts.

The best possible draft I could have imagined for us. So glad they kept the picks and got players who can contribute sooner rather than later.

Deal Reagor or Dillard and get back into the 4th and keep adding talent. I trust Howie and Stoutland to develop another later OL

Yeah, heard one scout say Willis was at a high school level for reading defenses.  I would only draft him to use as a gadget guy like Taysom Hill.

I'd happily keep Hurts if my decision was Hurts vs Willis and that's saying something. Hurts is at least a serviceable back up spot starter maybe game manager on the right team like a Tenn who ironically took Willis. I just don't see Willis anymore the a gadget guy at the QB position.
