2023 MN State High School Hockey Tournament (1 Viewer)

Tonight

Main screen: Gophers v Notre Dame
Second screen: Stillwater v St. Thomas into Moorhead v Edina

Those two will flip back and forth, I assume.

Third screen: The Wild for a dash of disappointment.

This is the way.

Fun game.

EGF is much better down 2+ than down 1.

Hibbing didn't call in reservations for the crease, they just took the spot and asked what you were going to do about it.
 
My son's high school team in Wisconsin is playing in the state final tomorrow. There are two divisions in Wisconsin:

D1 and D2

Our team is the #1 team in the state in D2. Hopefully they can pull this off. The town has been waiting for this group of kids for awhile as they have all grown up together playing hockey.

They are fun to watch and it's cool to be along for the ride our first year here.
 
That debatable penalty on Hibbing toward end of 2nd was crushing. EGF got rolling and never let Hibbing off the ropes rest of the way.

Yes. That's where we settled.
 
St. Thomas putting heavy pressure on in the second but haven't been able to get on the board. I'm not sure if Stillwater has held the puck in their offensive zone this period.

Yet, it's still 2-0 Ponies.

Originally grew up in what I think is now the original Lake Conference. Visiting the Twin Cities from Texas the past couple weeks and been watching the tournament. This was a great game to watch without having a preference who won. Well except @Andy Dufresne seemed to be a little bit of a Spuds fan so why not root for Moorehead.

I started playing hockey in 2nd grade for Moorhead and up and through my Bantam years we played in a literal barn - it was used for 4H activities when not in season. We didn't have plexiglass, we had chicken wire fencing. We first got artificial ice when I was a Bantam - before that when the weather got warm the season was over.

I wasn't very good in high school and the best I ever did was practicing varsity and playing JV. I hung up the skates in my junior year.

Following them for the last 35 years and enduring the 0-8 championship drought hasn't been fun. But this is SWEET!
