2024 12 Team Keeper League (keep 5) (1 Viewer)

I get to keep 5 players from my 2023 league. Nico Collins (9th round), Puka Nacua (10th round) and Patrick Mahomes (11th round) are locks. I'm undecided on my last 2 picks between Rhamondre Stevenson (5th round), Dalton Kincaid (7th round), and George Pickens (8th round). Our league groups WR and TE together as one position. Leaning toward Pickens and Kincaid due to Stevenson's shaky year last season and Kincaid possibly being Allen's #1 target this year but cringing at the idea of drafting all my running backs from scratch although most top RBs (McCaffrey, Hall, Gibbs, B Robinson, Barkley, Henry) will be available, and I have picks 1.05 and 2.08. What would you do?

Since you don't have to play a TE and there is no benefit to TE's (TE Premium) the choice is easy for me. Stevenson and Pickens are the easy choices.

I don't know about Kincais being the Bills #1 but I do think keeping the pass catchers is the right call.

Like Gally says if there is no need to play a TE and there are no benefits (premium) for TEs then I probably wouldn't keep Kincaid even though I think he could have a good year. I think Stevenson (who just resigned a new contract) will have a good year with a new coaching staff and offense. Last year NE was bad all around. I don't think the blame should be pointed at Stevenson when so many things went wrong in NE. He has a great opportunity to bounce back with a fresh start. His new contract is a 4-year deal and I don't think they really have an "out" until that last year. He should be good for 3 years at least.

Nice to lock up at worst an RB2 in the 5th round who has RB1 potential. An RB who can catch passes (had 88 targets 2 years ago).

I do like the idea of also taking the best RB available at 1.05. Then if you have Stevenson you have flexibility at 2.08 and aren't forced to reach for an RB as you have 2 locked up already. You could go for BPA at 2.08.
