Tatum with 19 points in the 3rd quarter in NY. Made a few nice defensive plays in the quarter as well. Knicks had cut it to 3 at one point early in the 3rd, but now Boston is up 20 going into the 4th.

I don't believe he is a serious MVP candidate, but he's well on his way to 4 straight 1st team All-NBA.

Yeah, they aren't a tread deadline 5 away from winning it all this year. I think in the long run, having the deal recinded a good thing for the Lakers. There should be a bit more available in the offseason, and they'll have more flexibility at that point with who they can ship out. The other guys who were notionally available at the deadline like Vucevic, Valencunias, etc. were slow freight, I don't think they'd be much use with the current Laker roster (they'd have fit with Davis though).
