Not sure if this makes sense but redraft trading is seldom discussed and I just made a big one, and typically the home leagues I play in have at least a couple pivotal trades each season. This one was from my home auction league that drafted online this past Saturday. I suppose there is tons of context in each league based on specific parameters. But I came out of the auction with a surplus of stud WRs IMO, and a shortage of stud RBs, so I...
gave P Pacua
got D Henry
of note - we get a $200 credit auction budget during the draft but it is a one-keeper league (where you can keep one player only for +$5 from previous year's draft price or WW cost) - and Puka was my keeper for a meager $10, where he was estimated to go for ~$48 if he had been on the open bidding market. So I gave my trading partner a potential keeper for $15 next year. He had paid $51 for Henry so it's a pretty even fair win-win trade as we saw it.
I came out of the draft with this WR corps:
Pacua, Metcalf 39, Dell 12, Flowers 12, McLaurin 6, Jameson 5, Brian Thomas Jr 5 (good keeper potential), Doubs 2
This also completes the Baltimore triple stack since I drafted Lamar.
