Why? They were literally breaking a rule the mod had come in the thread and told posters to stop. Essentially mid warned us of flame posting trolling and said posters kept doing it. But for whatever reason I got put in timeout for reporting something not reportable?
I do think Joe should implement some sort of review procedure on bans etc. so yeah I reported post the mod had said stop making yet I got the ban for some reason?

Agreed, but this has been a wake up call. If you think back to our game threads last year and the amount of arrogance and trash talk, they thought they had the next decade locked down so this is an adjustment for sure.

Nah. There’s a way to conduct yourself. Even in the throes of competition. Way too many instances of people I know just getting screamed at and taunted by Eagles fans. Obscene profanities. And then there’s the men. Seriously. One thing to love your team. Another thing to be an a hole to those cheering for other teams. I know this only reflects some. Let’s just say “some” is more than any other franchise in the history of sports. Bring back the jail and the rats. Fitting.

If I am so be it. Stand by it. Again it’s not every fan. Just way too many. For awhile in CA it was the same for Raiders fans when they traveled to San Diego etc. Season ticket holders wanted no part of those interactions. Bills Mafia on the other hand I respect immensely.

This is why I just block them. There’s zero upside and it’s a waste of my time if I have to read a sentence of it. These people could be doing anything. Taking a walk, working out, reading a book, learning something new etc but they’re right here, with us, trolling people or upset about a team that they don’t even care about or “wishing they lose”….it’s sad and pathetic.

Haha there are only 2 people I have on block here, and only 1 a consider a true troll troll. Now, I do confess to acting "troll'ish" from time to time, but ya know, thats part of the fun for a lot of people here I think, the ones that come here to talk football outside of FF b/c lets face it if you're on a FF message board you SHOULD really *know know* the NFL, so I personally get a good time out of the back and forth. And of course I realize we are riding high right now and that is part of it and there are plenty waiting for us to fail to just come right back here and tell us the same old takes like Nick Sirianni has a punchable face or that he can't coach or that Jalen Hurts is a RB, Jalen Carter is a murderer, AJ Brown is a very intelligent diva, its just part of the fun for me at least I can say - especially when they takes are especially bad.

Yeah and some people in the gameday thread think the Eagles are going to do what the Lions did and go away from the run and throw. I know people don't watch all the Eagles games and it's hard for them to believe that the Eagles win by running the ball 40 times and throwing 20, but that's what they do.

Washington's LG Cosmi tore his ACL and is out for the season. His replacement was the 2nd worst graded player on WAS in the Lions game. The WAS RG was the 4th lowest graded player. Jalen Carter and Milton Williams will be disruptive against that interior OL for WAS.

If i remember the stat correctly, the one common denominator between Was, KC, Phi and Buf this week is all 4 had no turnovers, and their opponents had some. Turnovers are certainly under-rated variable

We're winning despite some poor decision making from Hurts, a struggling passing offense in general (where the fault is spread out amongst Hurts, Sirianni, and Moore), and a shaky kicker. However, all the teams left have their own things wrong that they have been able to win in spite of, too.
Maybe we can outrun the consequences of some/all of those things for one (or two) more games. But it's a good bet that the next loss we take will involve those flaws.

as one of the biggest detractors of the hurts wagon, i'm gonna say neither. he's not winning us games, per se, but he's also not losing us games. far from it actually, he's more help than hurt in this lineup imo. in the snow game, AJ dropped two he should have caught and both would have resulted in points, elliott's problems notwithstanding of course. that would have been a boon for hurts and he'd get more credit there.
related, in the fourth Q there was a quick slant to AJ for a needed first down. i don't understand why this play, and others like it, aren't used more. Hurts seems to be looking for Smith underneath a lot. AJ as the bigger body can work that part of the field better imo, I don't get why he's just sent deep every play. this is a scheme problem, right?

Our defense has been carrying us. Im not too worried about Elliot, he has been more mortal than usual. I toss out any missed kicks from this past weekend, but yea he hasnt been perfect.
I believe Hurts is really bringing us down. With our running game and even Trent Dilfer, I think we would be crushing teams. Though I want to make sure Im not being too bent out of shape on Hurts.

I wouldn't go quite that far. His 44yd TD and his ability to check into the right run play at the line on Saquon's first long TD went a long way to winning us that game.
If anything, his play has been a part of holding us back from winning more comfortably.

Apologies for the broad brushing. Probably too thin skinned on the Eagles social media post following the Rams game. I have had several friends give me first hand accounts of horrible experiences with fans at Eagles games, including at the Superbowl in MN. I know that doesn't apply to all Eagles fans and it happens elsewhere (saw Yankee fans destroy a young couple sitting in front of us who were wearing his and hers Red Sox jerseys at Yankee Stadium in the playoffs). Anyway - peace. May the best team win.

I've seen enough analysis and All-22 film from analysts that consistently question the routes being run in the passing game to think there's more to it than just Hurts. AJ, Devonta, and Dallas didn't forget how to run routes correctly. They are running what's drawn up, and the schemes just aren't working to get them open or (quickly) in position to make something happen.
It seems like when the passing game stalls there are some "easy" plays being called that do those things, then we go right back to receivers running routes right into the same space and Hurts has nowhere to go with the ball, and things spiral from there.
