2024 Philadelphia Eagles - With a tricep held together by duct tape and rubber bands, Brandon Graham added to the SB roster. (96 Viewers)

My question is why is a fan of a team that stunk more than raw sewage with a QB off his rocker and and an owner and GM who don’t know sh** smack talking in an Eagles thread? Is their ego brushed that much? It’s pretty sad. Like get a life, go outside and touch some grass

I’m on a message board. Some of you can’t stop pissing all over “your” territory long enough to realize that it’s a public space. Touch some grass. My ***. Just went out to dinner tonight and touched all the grass on the skirts of the ladies I was rolling with. Hwarf.

Damn, really hard not to get ahead of ourselves.... The thought of hosting the nfcc and being favoured is just wild.

Wash looked great, but we match up well with them especially if we can limit turnovers.

Rams must also be licking their lips tho with a shot to bring the nfcc to LA

Was kind of hoping for a Detroit win. I wanted the Eagles to be the ones to go into Detroit and rip their hearts out. Rams ain't winning.

Eagles fans:

If the Rams beat the Eagles, the reason would be _________?
uncharacteristic turnovers, much like how the Commanders won last night
I think it would have to be multiple things with the talent. Turnovers would be #1, but would also need the passing game to be a dud like the pessimists have been saying, maybe mix in a missed Elliot kick or defense not overcoming losing Dean and not causing any 3rd and longs.

What exactly do people think the Rams are going to score on offense today. They scored less than 25 points (12 times). They scored more than 25 on the road twice all season vs. NE and SEA.

Since December 1, the Rams offense has scored:

21 (vs. NO, 30th ranked D)
37 (vs. BUF, 17th ranked D)
12 (vs. SF, 8th ranked D)
19 (vs. NYJ, 3rd ranked D)
13 (vs. ARI, 21st ranked D)
25 (vs. SEA, 14th ranked D) with backups
20 (vs. MIN, 16th ranked D)

They haven't exactly been lighting up the scoreboard. They don't have a good rushing attack or rush defense which may prove fatal in a snow game.

Not to mention the Eagles defense really doesn’t allow opposing teams over 20 points. Aside from that weird Washington game the eagles have allowed an average of 13.9 ppg from the bye week through the last playoff game.

You always want to have some level of worry, and on a normal day we deserve to feel confidence as the better team, but I think the weather makes things more unpredictable and can be a bit of a boost to the non-favorite, so I’m down to a 65% confidence level from 80% at the start.

Then again, the weather doesn’t seem to be living up to the hype. I’m down here now , less than hour before kickoff, and it’s wet snow/freezing rain coming down, and lightly. It’s not even as cold as I expected.

Maybe things will take a big turn soon, but “Snow Bowl” conditions aren’t shaping up so far.

I agree. The better team should always want ideal conditions. The weather *should* help us as the dominant running team but weird conditions lead to weird things. Turnovers are how we lose this game and I am nominally concerned about fumbles or a pass slipping off hands and into a defender.

Kickoff in 10 minutes and it’s not even raining anymore. No winds, low 30’s feel. :ponder:

Yea. Crazy how it went from blizzard to nothing. Just a normal January playoff game. Feeling better about it now.

Suppose to snow In 2nd half

Still incredibly sloppy, even before the snow came again passing game inconsistent. OL didn’t do great but Hurts was still indecisive on reading plays and holding onto the ball. AJB had key drops.

Defensively we miss Dean on run Def. Hate the prevent D used at end of Game and we may have lost Quinyon for the playoffs. Jordan Davis has gone MIA

Special teams: Elliot is a problem still. Made two huge FGs but Christ can’t win games like that

Play like today next week we are watching the SB at home

there are quite a few things the sports radio can complain about this week. One that I haven't heard a ton about that has me mildly concerned is that AJ Brown does not seem to really be into it the last few weeks.

2 missed extra points. Brown's drop at the 1. Goedert's play that got us inside the five, and the tush push TD nullified by penalty. We left a lot of points out there. This game shouldn't have been close at all.
gotta give the Rams credit. Jalen was holding the ball too long but hadn't been punished for it much this year before now. Rams with 16 sacks in 2 games is impressive. Our O line is a lot more impressive in run game then in pass game but they struggled today.

Commanders are a scary team, that QB is for real. But Eagles have the better personnel up and down the roster (outside of QB) and are rightly favored. Should be fun!

Going out of town for a convention this week. Was really hoping next week would be the later game. Will likely be on the road at kickoff :(

Should be talked about more and zjordan Davis is not only MIA but it looks like he’s losing snaps to Milton and Ojomo

I lost about 2 years of my life. Hope Jalen is ready for next week.
I don’t know how confident I would be feeling in Jalen to win a superbowl (given the remaining teams) if I was an Eagles fan. But they’re one of 5 left.

They scored 28 points and their kicker missed 2 extra points. I'd say that's not too bad.
Of course it wasn’t bad. They won. Doesn’t change what I said in my post.

True love is hard to find, sometimes you think you have true love and then you catch the early flight home from San Diego and a couple of NFC East teams jump out of your bathroom blindfolded like a ******* magic show ready to double team your afternoon...

Most of it was Barkley
Jalen's net passing yards were under 100. Granted, some of the play calling didn't help him much.
