Bit of a MUST WIN for the Jets going on the road 2 weeks in a row
I think they will keep the Titans pretty quiet on Sunday
Jets are likely favorites next 3-4 games, should win them all, almost have to if they want to make the Playoffs this year.
The goal posts keep being moved on this team, I thought 10-7 would make everyone happy but the media seems to feel they got duped but maybe their expectations were too high

Thanks to those in here who suggested the Seahawks before week 1.

Are you all dropping them if you can get the Chargers tonight off waivers? Or holding the Seahawks for one more week?

Will be interesting to see where to pivot when the Seahawks play Miami in week 3.
I'm on board for the first two weeks. Don't have room to store an extra, so will re-evaluate Tuesday

Forget is it was posted here or reddit, but the 'hawks had 5 of the top 10 rated coverage guys week 1. (iirc, it was really high)
The Seahawks defense had 6 of the Top 26 coverage players (LB, S, CB) in the NFL in Week 1. Julian Love: 90.2 Tyrel Dodson: 87.0 Jerome Baker: 85.3 Riq Woolen: 85.2 Devon Witherspoon: 80.1 Rayshawn Jenkins: 80.1

Starting Chargers or Seattle this week. Looking at the available defenses I can pick up the team playing Carolina the next few weeks.

Welp the Seahawks have the Patriots this week and presumably the Tua-less, Thompson-led Dolphins next
Interesting wrinkle there to give them a possible 3rd week of solid usage.
Yeah I’m keeping them. I feel like every season there is a completely free set and forget defense and I try to just stream until I find that one. Maybe Seattle is it? Regardless, they have a good matchup this week and probably next week too. Especially if their coverage guys are actually the guys (per PFF).

Colts D vs Green Bay is a no brainer, Colts are going to blow out the Packers this weekend
Good chance for turnovers, sacks and maybe a defensive score
Thinking about dropping the chargers for the colts at the last minute because of the colts upcoming matchups:

GB, Chi, Pitt, Jax, Miami.

Maybe I’ll lose out on a few points today, but they’d be a long hold if they look good today.

I don't think I'm going back to the Colts next week.

I kept the Chargers in over the colts at the last second, and that decision may have saved my week!

Texans got me 28 tonight. 7 sacks and 2 picks. Until Caleb figures things out, it's open season for DST streamers on the Bears offense. They play the Colts next week.

Next Gen Stats
The Texans defense blitzed Caleb Williams on 41.7% of his dropbacks (20 times), the unit's highest blitz rate in a game under DeMeco Ryans.

The Texans generated 12 pressures and 5 sacks when blitzing, with nine defenders finishing with multiple pressures.

Now that the Raiders are facing Andy Dalton and not Bryce Young, considering a pivot. Tempted by the Packers vs Tennessee. Seems like the Packers plan to hand the ball off a million times and not let Malik Willis get them in trouble. Meanwhile, the Titans couldn't stop Breece Hall and Braelon Allen, so it's set up for the Packers to control time of possession, leading Tennessee to have to either 1) have Will Levis throw more, which sounds good for the Packers D chances, or 2) go run heavy too, making this game low-scoring, also great for the D.

Overthinking? For now I'm putting the claim priority on GB over the Raiders but might flip-flop it back. Not dropping the Colts yet, either... they face Caleb Williams in week 3 and while I probably don't have the guts to start them, I don't want my opponent to be able to pick them up, so, when they do depart my lineup it'll be after the last waiver run of the week. The Colts next run of games--CHI, PITT, JAX, MIA--are all teams that are going to want to run hard against them and Indy can't stop anyone on the ground.

Anyone gonna use the Colts again this week? Lol

I hate that I did last week but the Colts are at home and they are playing a very broken down looking Bears team. I’m not entirely sure the Bears can run the ball or really threaten down the field.

My feelings want me to say **** the Colts for last week but the facts are that how are the Bears going to score?

Also, worried about A Rich vs a staunch defense.

Minnesota definitely seems competent. Because they have really good coaching and also foundational players. Definitely worth a stream, even against the Texans. I think the Texans lose this game handedly.

Still have Seattle and seems they should be able to tee up on a perceived bad QB at home traveling across the country.

But… they have still just looked okay, and Miami is not without weapons that can score.

I could see the Raiders getting a few sacks and maybe an INT.

I’m tempted to switch the Seahawks out for Minnesota.

They aren’t highly ranked this weekend due to playing Houston… but have put up 23 and 14 points in week 1 and 2 in my scoring system.

And other than the week 6 bye and maybe Arizona… not a lot of powerhouse on their season long schedule.

Saints are available in my big league. I'm thinking of picking them up and just sticking out the next few tough weeks and riding them out. After the next few tough weeks, their schedule is ridiculously soft. PHI will probably be minus AJB again this week and KC should be pretty one-dimensional with Pacheco down.

I'm trying to talk myself into scooping them over the Raiders who have a cake schedule for the next month. I believe the Saints to have the superior defense and can score more which will put more pressure on the opposing offense to throw more resulting in sacks/INTs.

Anyone else with me here?

If the Jets are out there, NE's entire offensive line is currently injured per today's report. And they stink when healthy.

Drafted the Bill late, started them week 1
Dropped them for Chiefs who I started week 2

Currently have 5% FAAB bids on Vikings and Saints in that order. Hoping to get either and ride them ROS. Both have later bye weeks which I prefer for my DST…

The way the Vikings handled the 49ers, and the Saints handling of the Cowboys was enough to make me a believer they can be set it and forget it for a good chunk of the season.

Anybody else believers?

Seahawks or Bears moving forward?
After this week. The Seahawks schedule is not great. Detroit, Atlanta, SF, Buffalo in four out of the next five, and then maybe even a rams team who could possibly have their WRs back.

My plan was to drop them this week but holding through Miami game. Then trying to pivot to Minnesota.

Raiders or Bengals?

Roll of the dice based on how you think each game will play out imo.

I'm rolling with the Raiders this week, but I am not too confident in them after a big emotional win and facing Andy Dalton who might have a fire under him as a starter again. Always makes me a little worried when a new QB comes in that energizes a team. I'm banking on Dalton screwing up at least a couple times and that offensive line is bad.

As a Bengals fan, I think the defense is legit and doesn't give up a lot of yards, but outside of Trey Hendrickson they put zero pressure on the QB (Myles Murphy can't come back soon enough and could be back this week). Now insert a mobile QB like Daniels and it might be even harder to get some sacks. If Washington is passing like they did week 2 with little dinks and dunks it will be hard to get them big defensive plays (INT/Sacks). If they let Daniels air it out any, they might have time to get to him or force a bad throw. Bengals are in a must win this week and I think both offense and defense come out fired up so Washington will need to pass more which could create some solid opportunities for the defense. I'm concerned with Daniels rushing abilities, that always seems to hurt the Bengals.

Dumped the Chargers just now for the Bears D.

Although I like the PIT matchup for LAC on paper, but - its on the road, and should be a relatively “quick” game with both teams running the ball.

Bears however are @IND. ARich should be good for at least a turnover - and then CHI goes LAR, CAR, JAX the next 3 weeks before they have their BYE week.

Feels like a good play.

Robert Mays
Per @NextGenStats, the Jets have blitzed on 33.3 percent of Brissett's dropbacks today.

Under Saleh, they haven't topped 25 percent in a game since 2021. And that's when this was a VERY different defense in year 1 of this regime.

Next Gen Stats
The Jets blitzed Jacoby Brissett on 40% of his dropbacks, the team's highest blitz rate in a game under Robert Saleh (since 2021).

Brissett was pressured on 8 of 10 dropbacks when blitzed, taking more sacks (3) than he had completions (2) against the blitz.
