I think many drafts will be won or lost with this pick whether it is your 2nd or 3rd RB. For many of you it will be 3rd, but in my PPR League, it could be my 2nd (in the 5th). All of these guys have their advantages and disadvantages. I may try to grab two of them in the 5th and 6th. They all have similar ADP and VBD values.

Green - Health risk, but Davenport is gone. Is this trust that he is healthy or in Gado? O line has two rookies.

T Bell - I think the FBG numbers are at his floor, so little risk with this pick. He got 900 yards last year, I think that is easy this year and he could become the starter.

Rhodes - Has Addai over his shoulder, but so far looks like he is going to carry the load. Peyton can take the heat off him with the passing game.

McAllister - Has to play with Bush and has health issue, but looked good in pre-season.

Taylor - Fragile Fred, will he last the season? Jones is out to vulture series, but he still probably won't be used at the GL. Jim Brown called him one of the most talented backs in the NFL.

I am leaning towards Rhodes in the 5th and Bell in the 6th... Thoughts?!?

Voted Fred Taylor out of this group. IMO, he is the only one who isn't looking at RBBC all season. He can stay healthy, as has been demonstrated. Jax has a good D, good offensive weapons, there is no reason he can't be a top 15 back.

I'd think Taylor and Rhodes have the best shot at getting the carries. I didnt take any these guys since T. Jones slipped to me in the 6th but that was before he was named the starter.

Rhodes wont even be the number 1, Addai is a good fit in that offense and will get some good time in that backfield.

Duece will get bulk of the carries but still, Bush will get his and eventually split the role with Duece.

Bell will be like he was last year, big plays but inconsistant. Very hit or miss.

Taylor is getting the carries but their pass game isnt top of the line and it will put too much pressure on Fred, the loss of Jimmy Smith really hurts the run game.

Lastely is my pick, Green. I think Favre is a gun slinger and is always willing to stretch a D, that opens some running lanes for Green who is the def starter. Giving up Davenport just shows that they feel good about Green. He will get carries and his line will start to gell, I give it till week 6 until hes back looking like a competative RB in the league.

Bell would be my choice. He's on a semi-Super Bowl caliber team, and a high powered offense for RBs. Yes he has the rook chomping at the bit, but my thought is if the team felt we wasn't able to shoulder at least most of the role that Andrson vacated, then they would've drafted a lot higher at RB, gone FA or resigned MA.

My worry here is if he didn't wake up last year when he was reduced to essentially 40/60 with MA what made the light bulb come on in the offseason (assuming it has)?

Voted Deuce... with Brees having an accurate pasing game, and Bush drawing respect, Deuce will see enough touches to be valuable as a RB2.

Almost went Taylor, but the Jones-Drew performance was pretty good and if Greg Jones had not gotten hurt, Fred would be sharing the load. As it is, we just don't know who will replace G Jones.

I think the loss of Jimmy Smith will really hurt Jax offense.

Monk,

Who do you like instead?

I don't think Taylor losing J Smith will hurt him that much. I think the passing game will still be respectable enough to give him room

I think Fred Taylor has successfully dispelled the notion that he's fragile. He looked as fast and shifty as ever in the preseason. I didn't draft him, but I think he's going to surprise people this year.
