3 day weekend in Boston: What to do, where to stay, etc. (1 Viewer)

Been to Modern and will go back but gotta try Bova's first.
Big fan of Moderns Cassata Cake . Huge fan

A classic Italian dessert. Three layers of our light and airy Italian sponge cake soaked with rum and strega liquors. Two layers of creamy sweetened ricotta filling sprinkled with dark chocolate morsels. Completely encompassed with fresh whipped cream and sliced almonds.

Wow. I could use a couple extra stomachs.

I forgot our bartender last night suggested that too.

Not worried about the neighborhood and it doesn't look too far from North End.
It's in Eastie. If you find yourself on the north shore there is one in Peabody .  Eastie ain't so bad , if you consider it ms13 town

Might need a Boston to American dictionary to help me translate what you said but thanks all the same.

;)

Santarpios is worth the trip, old-school feels like going back in time. Have one of their homemade sausages on the side.

Trillium Brewing might be the single best brewery in the world IMO, and they are a consensus top 5 pretty much anywhere you look. Must try. Fort Point location is great if you're just grabbing to go, otherwise hit the Canton location to sit and try different beers.

Night Shift is also damn good and well worth a stop also.

I'd skip Boston Beer Co. (Sam Adams) personally.

Had both Trillium and Night Shift last night. Both very solid, and I'm a San Diego beer snob too.

It isn't even the best brewery in the state
