Profootballtalk.com is "hearing" that the Redskins have interest in Jay Cutler.

An internet rumor circulated Tuesday that a three-team deal sending Brady Quinn to Denver, Chris Cooley and Jason Campbell to Cleveland, and Cutler and Tony Scheffler to D.C. would be announced at 5PM, but it never was. PFT indicates that the Skins do have interest in Cutler, though. Perhaps Dan Snyder and Pat Bowlen will talk at the March 22-25 Owners' Meetings.

Anyone head this?

Here is the story from their "source" ..... notice the word "satire":

(Satire)

This is unconfirmed.

However, an inside source says a trade will bring Jay Cutler to Washington is almost complete.

The leak came roughly about one hour ago. Negotiations between Cutler’s agent, Pat Bowlen, Daniel Snyder, and the Cleveland Browns management have been ongoing for a few days and all sides seem to be happy.

The deal would see Jay Cutler, Tony Scheffler, and Cleveland’s third round pick going to Washington.

Jason Campbell and Chris Cooley going to Cleveland and one of Denver’s fifth round picks.

Brady Quinn going from Cleveland to Denver, and LaRon Landry from Washington will be going to Denver. We thought that the Bailey-Portis trade was big.

Our source says that teams will announce the deal at 5 p.m. this evening.

That report came and went in a Honda. That being said, there were supposedly picks involved, coming from teams that didn't own them. So pretty much bogus, at least as it was laid out.But who knows during the owner's meetings; something's bound to give re: Cutler soon....

there was a huge thread on this not too long ago
My bad I just got in and did not see it. Delete it f you want please
I think the other thread is gone because the report was found out to be bogus
yes. If you check out the link above, it says it is a satire piece.
Well shizzzzz....and I was getting all excited about having Cut and Scheffler on my team....

Thanks Mustang Man. You did EXACTLY right on this. You noted it was a RUMOR and you gave the source with a cut and paste. That's perfect. However, it looks like this one may be a spoof piece so I'm going to lock for now. We may revisit if more comes to light. But you did exactly right. Thanks.
