Let's Go: Football 3 Constitution
I. Teams and Members
A. The league will be made up of two divisions with 5 teams in each division. The number of rounds for the yearly rookie/FA draft will be 5 rounds. All Owners will participate in a 13 game regular season each year with a playoff involving six (6) teams. The championship game will be played in week 16.
B. In order to draft a player, he must be eligible for the NFL Draft or already playing in the league.
C. The rookie/FA draft will be held in the first week of May and there will be a 12hr time limit for each pick.
D. One or more league members own and control a team. Each team has one vote in voting processes.
E. Should an Owner leave the league for any reason, the team is NOT automatically inherited by the league. Instead, the Commissioner will immediately contact a capable Owner brought forward to them by a present Owner in the league and determine if they wish to take the membership. In the event a new owner cannot be found, the Commissioner will submit the best lineup possible for that team until a new owner can be found. No pickups/drops/trades will be allowed for that team until a new owner is found.
II. Player Drafts
A. Owners will build their team through a 5-round rookie/FA draft. The draft will be NFL Style (worst to first).
C. Trading of Draft Picks
1. Draft picks in current year's draft can be traded at no cost providing that year's entry fee is paid.
2. You cannot trade future draft picks more than 2 drafts in the future.
3. Draft picks one or two drafts in the future at the cost of the yearly entry fee of $20 per year. The current year's draft counts as one of the drafts in the future if the trade takes place before the current year's draft.
4. Draft picks can not be traded for money or any other considerations
D. Once a draft selection has been posted, it cannot be rescinded.
E. The rookie draft is to be held in May. The order of the draft will be determined by the results of the previous year, from worst to first as determined by regular season records. The first tiebreaker will be total points. The second tiebreaker will be head-to-head record. The third tiebreaker will be division record.
III. Rosters
A. The minimum number of players on a roster is 13. The maximum number is 28 in season and 32 offseason. You must cut your roster to 28 player 48 hrs before the start of the first game of the season. If you fail to reduce your roster by that time, the commissioner has the right to drop four players from that roster.
B. Position eligibility. The final say on all roster eligibility will be what position the player is listed in hosting site.
C. Minimum's and maximum's:
Minimum: of 2 QB, 2 RB's, 4 WR's, 2 TE, 1 Flex (WR/RB), 1 K, and 1 DEF.
Maximums: None
D. The off-season roster limit will is expanded to 32, but must be reduced back to 28 players 48 hrs before the start of the first game of the season.
IV. Starting lineups
A. All starting lineups will consist of the following: 2 quarterbacks, 2 running backs, 4 wide receivers, 2 tight ends, 1 Flex (WR/RB), 1 kicker, and 1 defensive team.
B. The deadline for submitting starting lineups will be kickoff of the game in which your player is playing.
V. Scoring
Any scoring dispute must be made after the current week's games, and before the next week's first game. Changes will only be made if the hosting site allows it. The hosting site decisions on scoring is final unless a mistake has been made in the rules setups, which means that the hosting site setups contradict what is stated in the constitution. If that is the case, then the commissioner will use the constitution to change the hosting site setup if possible. It is the responsibility of each owner to read the constitution and compare it with the hosting site and make any discrepancies known to the league.
Decimal Scoring will be used.
One team represents both defense and special teams.

VII. Playoffs
A. Our regular season will end after NFL week 13. Playoffs will include 3 teams from each division and will begin on week 14 of the NFL season. The top seed will be the division winners, who will receive byes. The #3-6 teams will be seeded on their 1) W-L record, 2) Total Points Scored, 3) Head-to-Head results, 4) Divisional Record, 5) Points scored Head to Head
The winners of the wild-card games in week 14 will play the division champions in week 15. The Super Bowl will be held in week 16.
VIII. Transactions
A. Trading:
1. Trades must be fair. Please read this carefully. Far too often, dynasty leagues are destroyed by highly unbalanced trades made to take advantage of less-experienced players. That will not be allowed in this league. The league commissioner will not hesitate to veto trades that are not in the best interest of the league as a whole. Of course dynasty values are relative, and some players will value youth and draft picks over production. This is fine. The fleecing of other players is not, however, and such trades will be vetoed with an explanation from the commish. League input will be accepted at all times when the commish is making a decision, but he will not be bound by majority vote.
2. Trades can include draft picks for up to 2 draft years in the future and/or players. If trades include future draft picks, that year's entry fee of $20 must be paid by the owner who is trading the future pick. The current year's draft is considered a future draft pick if the draft hasn't taken place. Trades that include draft picks can be made before payment is received, but if the payment is not received within a week, the trade will be backed out and any points scored by those players traded wiill be reversed, which can affect the outcome of games played.
B. FA Pickups/drops:
1. Your roster may not exceed 28 players (in-season) or 32 players (off-season) after you make a free agent acquisition.
2. In-Season, we will use a blind bidding waiver system. All teams will have a bidding budget of 200 points per year. After blind bidding is completed each week, the waiver wire will be free-for-all until the following week's games.
3. There is no deadline for picking up free agents.
4. Dumping of players or collusion will not be allowed.
IX. Injured Reserve
Two players at a time, must be on IR, PUP, or listed as Out. IR players do not count toward roster totals.
X. Player Retention
Since this is a dynasty league, every player on your team will be kept from year-to-year.
XI. Commissioner
League stability is our primary goal. This framework will govern the league:
A. Commissioner. Our goal is to have a very strong, yet fair Commissioner. The Commissioner is sworn to act at all times in the Best Interests of the League and is vested with the following powers:
1. Interpret the Constitution
2. Settle all position eligibility questions.
3. Approve team names.
4. Preside over draft and settle draft disputes.
5. Preside with veto power over trades and settle trade disputes.
6. Maintain the integrity of the league and its Owners by enforcing Article XII, "Expected Owner Conduct".
XII. Expected Owner Conduct
Owners will be expected to conduct themselves in a manner that will not disparage the league nor its Owners in any way, shape, or form. While bragging is always a part of some Owner's personality and is to be expected, inflammatory or taunting acts will not be tolerated. The Commissioner will have total authority in drawing the line between bragging and taunting.
XIII. League Disputes and Amendments to the Constitution.
A. Owners can call for a league vote anytime for all disputes except to override what the Commissioner is empowered to decide. (See XI Commissioner).
1. Owner notifies the Commissioner he is appealing the decision.
2. Commissioner notifies the league.
B. Owner warnings: If an Owner is considered by the Commissioner to be conducting himself in a manner not in the best interest of the league.
1. The Commissioner issues a 1st warning.
2. Second occurrence, the Commissioner will remove that Owner from the league.
C. Removing an Owner. This is an extremely serious consideration, one that the league will seek to avoid at all costs. If it arises, this path will be followed:
The league will assume control of the team until a replacement can be found. No transactions will be permitted by this team until a replacement is found. No entry fee will be refunded.
XIV. Fees
A. All Owners must have all fees paid current by April 1st.
1. If fees aren't paid by the league due date, a warning will be issued. After 2 weeks of this warning, the Owner will be replaced.
XV. Prize Money
Make the playoffs - $20 (6 x 20 = 120)
Make the Super Bowl - $20 (2 x 20 = 40)
Win the Super Bowl - $20 (1 x 20 = 20)
Regular Season Points Champ - $20 (1 x 20 = 20)
120 + 40 + 20 + 20 = $200, total entry fees.
XVI. Acceptance of the Constitution
An owner's decision to join the league constitutes acceptance of this constitution and all of the rules described herein.
