$30 Auction Redraft League with a twist. (1 Viewer)

BroncoFreak_2K3

sucker for Orange
Looking for ONE MORE owner in my auction redraft league. Price is $32 per paypal. 100% payout except for league fee ($90). League is run on MFL.com.

Here's the website: http://64.73.54.17/2011/home/16857

I've run many different types of leagues in the past, this league is more for fun and skill then money. I need at least 8 teams to run this league this year, 10 would be perfect. Have 7 committed so far.

* Price is $32 per paypal Payment is due Tuesday Aug. 9th.

* Online EBay-style auction draft ($250 soft cap), 12 team league, 25 roster spots - 14 Starters, 11 bench. Draft starts online August 13th at 8 AM (more info on draft format/process will be provided once you commit to the league with the league fee). Planning on draft taking a couple weeks to complete. All auctioning done on league website.

* Start: 2 QB, 3 RB, 4 WR, 2 TE, 1 FLEX (Can be RB, WR, TE) 1 K, 2 DEF

* IMPORTANT - HERE is the Twist - Players are only allowed to start 8 games total for the regular season (14 weeks).

Here is the thinking behind this rule: Lets say you own Ray Rice and he is going against the Jets D...do you start him? In traditional leagues, the only "penalty" would be low points. Now you not only have to consider low points, but also a "wasted game" by one of your studs. You could draft Rice and decide not to trot him out until week 5, or you could burn his 8 starts at the beginning of the season, knowing you can drop him for a WW player and NO ONE can pick him up (well they could) because his "starts" have been used up. The strategy behind it is that because with so few teams in the league, everyone's roster is full of studs…with this rule, you really have to forecast/plan out your potential starting players weeks out. There are any willy nilly weekly lineup cards, it that's some thinking each week. Number of starts is automatically tracked on the league website.

*Trades are approved by League Commissioner thru Week 10.

* Blind Bidding and FCFS Waivers every week thru week 13. Blind Bid bank is $150

* 8 teams make playoffs - Playoffs Week 15-17.

* Scoring – basically, ever yard counts…decimal scoring system, but this is designed as somewhat a tight, low-scoring system.

===================================

QBs: 2 pts/passing TD, 3 pts/rush or receiving TD, 0.03 pt/1 yard passing (starting at 100 yards), 0.1 pt/1 yard rushing, receiving (starting at 15 yards) - so basically 100 yard rushing is equal to 300 yard passing by a QB, -1 pt/int or fumble lost.

RBs: 3 pts/pass, rush, receiving TD, 0.1 pt/1 yard pass, rush, receiving, 0.25 pt/reception, -1 pt/int or fumble lost.

WRS/TEs: 3 pts/pass, rush, receiving TD, 0.1 pt/1 yard pass, rush, receiving, 0.50 pt/reception, -1 pt/int or fumble lost.

Ks: length of made FG: 0.1 pt./1 yard, 0.5 pt/PAT, -0.25 pts/missed PAT.

DEF: points for all Special Team or Defensive TD scored, sacks, blocked punt/FG, Total points allowed, Total net yards passing allowed, total net yards rushing allowed.

=====================================

These are the basics. Contact me if interested. I will be closing the league to entrants on Monday August 8th. Please contact me with email or PM before this date to lock in a spot.

Thanks
