We are looking for 1 replacement GM for our ultra-competitive, ultra active, 5-Year old keeper league which has a $300 entry fee. The league is points based scoring, not head to head except for in the playoffs.
If you are not a trader or not an active owner than this league is not for you. We are only looking for the absolute most active owners around, that is what has made this league great in the past and will continue to make it great into the future. If you want to be in a league where you feel like a Real Life GM then this league would be perfect for you!
2015 DRAFT DATE: Tuesday, September 1st 2015. Time: TBD
2015 KEEPER DEADLINE: Sunday, August 30th 2015. Time: Midnight PST.
This league is probably different than any fantasy football league you've ever participated in, we operate under a $20,000,000 salary cap in which player salaries increase each year if they are kept. Players that are not kept, are thrown back into the draft pool for the upcoming season. Those players salaries are then reset and will have a new value attached to them based on the round they are drafted in.
KEEPER REQUIREMENTS
You may keep up to 5 players, and additionally a 6th player if he is currently in college or a rookie for the upcoming season. Of the 5 players kept, you may only keep 3 players at any price, 1 player $1,000,000 and under and 1 player $500,000 and under. Each player you keep then has an escalating salary each season he is kept on your team. Let's say you keep Tom Brady at $3,500,000, his salary would then escalate to $4,250,000 for the upcoming season according to the scale below.
EXAMPLE KEEPER SALARY SCALE
Current Year Salary...........Next Year Salary
$3,500,000..........................$4,250,000
$3,000,000..........................$3,500,000
$2,500,000..........................$3,000,000
$2,000,000..........................$2,500,000
$1,500,000..........................$2,000,000
DROPPED PLAYERS
For any player not kept on your team, that players' value is then reset and attached to the round that he is then drafted in the upcoming draft. For example, if a team cuts Tony Romo at $3,500,000 his salary is reset depending on the round. Lets say someone drafts him in the first round, his salary for the upcoming season would then be $2,000,000 instead of the $3,500,000 from last season referring to the salary scale below.
EXAMPLE 2015 DRAFT SCALE (16 Rounds Total)
Round...................Salary
1st..........................$2,000,000
2nd.........................$1,750,000
3rd..........................$1,500,000
4th..........................$1,250,000
5th..........................$1,000,000
