Tried starting up a similar league last summer but it was a little too late in the summer to get it off the ground. So, I'm starting much earlier this year with the hopes of getting the league filled in time for a startup auction.
The structure is two conferences of 16 teams each and each conference has its own separeate player environment (each player can exist once in each conference). $50 buy in is paid throuhg League Safe and is paid out through various criteria (playoff teams of course, but also highest regular season point total, highest point total each week, etc.)
There will be an intitial auction consisting of veterans and rookies in the first year, followed by free agency and a rookie draft each subsequent year. Contracts of 1-5 years and a salary cap of $75 million will be in place.
The scoring is designed to provide scores that are as balanced as possble across positions.
