32 TEAM Salary/Contract Startup League (1 Viewer)

With the delay in a new CBA I wanted to start this thread to judge interest in this league.

I am 1/2 way through setting up a new 32 Team Salary Contract League.

The goal of this league is to mimic the NFL as closely as possible. The following are some of the basics

32 teams, 2 conferences, 8 divisions

46 man rosters, 5 taxi squad

contracts ranging from 1-5 years, with penalties for dropping players under contract.

Starting options allow you to play a 3-4-4, 4-3-4, 4-2-5

With deep rosters and 32 teams, scoring is set up to balance offensive and defensive players. Using last years stats, there was a 50/50 balance between offensive and defensive players in the top 100.

Cost would be somewhere around $50 per year with 2 years due up front and then $50 at the start of next year. This would hopefully keep owners from jumping ship. Finances would be handled through LeaguSafe.

PM me if you are interested in this league. If there isn't enough interest due to the status of the NFL season, I may have to wait until next year to roll this out.

Just wanted to update everyone on the status of this league.

Unfortunately, it looks like the lockout will force the delay of this league until next year. I am having trouble finding 32 owners. When you combine that with the fact that the draft with 32 teams could take a couple of months to complete, I think its best to start this league next spring.
