Thanks, yes, 1 QB league. But I do not understand that logic. Surely you'd keep a QB if the value looked good enough.
for example:
- another guy is keeping QB-Fields in exchange for his 13th round pick.
- another guy is keeping QB-Burrow in exchange for his 8th round pick.
- another guy is keeping QB-Hurts in exchange for his 4th round pick.
I guess they feel they are worth it for the draft pick they have to give up.
so far those are the only 3 QB's being kept in this league.
I find the challenge with keeper leagues like this (the kept players are kept in exchange for where they were drafted last year) is in determining expected ADP.
In a keep 1 player (start 1 QB) league I degrade the QB value so much that they aren't worth keeping. I would much rather keep a positional player because I will always be able to get a QB worth playing. They are just too far devalued for me to keep one.

If it's a keep one I don't really care about the value. I just keep the best player. It's one guy. I want a guy that's going to help. Keeping a RB3 or WR3/4 because they are "good value" just seems like a waste to me.
The only time that I might change off the "best player" choice is if it costs me a 1st rounder and I would be able to get that player back (or equivalent). Then the flexibility of allowing me to pick someone else if it warrants it will have move onto the next best player as a keeper.
