What slot is best?

We get to choose our draft slot. I have 3rd choice.

Do a 3 round mock based on how you would pick players. I think you will find that there is talent available at the top end of the third round and the players later in that round are more risky. I would guess you want to be one of the first 3 picks.

There was a FBG article posted back in 2009 that looked at the various types of drafts. Regardless of type of draft, the #1 slot is always best.

More info regarding Third Round Reversal, or "Banzai" style of drafting. Right at the start after four rounds, the variation is just 2% in point values and it even gets smaller as the draft progresses, ultimately approaching just 1% difference. The best team is still #1, but the worst team is now Team #6, but again the separation between all teams is nearly gone.
