Starting a dynasty league, looking for interested and committed owners. $40 buy-in, 12-14 team, PPR. There is no live draft, rather, owners “bid” on all free agents before the season starts and assign contracts to players. For example, Team A bids 10M/3 yrs on Aaron Rodgers. All other managers have the option to outbid, say 11M/3 years. After 24 hours of no bids, that player is locked and is awarded to the high bidder. There is a $150M cap and there is no maximum roster size. Transactions will take place on ProBoards and rosters set on Yahoo. The bidding typically takes about 4 weeks. Active managers are encouraged for this league. It allows you to act as 'GM' and select the players you want, rather than a typical draft where you choose from the best available players.
Starting rosters are as follows: QB, QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, RB/WR/TE, DEF (no kickers).
Points: Passing – 1 pt/50yds +1 pt @ 300 yds ; 6 pt/TD ; -2pt/INT
Rushing – 1pt/20yds +1pt @100 yds ; 6 pt/TD ; -2 pt/fumble lost
Receiving – 1pt/20yds +1pt @100 yds ; 1 pt /REC ; 6 pt/TD ; -2 pt/fumble lost
This will be a H2H league and prizes will be awarded for the teams with the most points scored through 17 weeks, as well as the playoff champions. Values will be determined once we have a final number of owners. League dues will be collected through LeagueSafe. Before the NFL season there will be a 4 round “college” draft which owners can draft any player in the college rank. Once eligible to play in the NFL, they will be granted a 0.5M/4yr contract for the owner.
All free agents not bid on during the off-season will be available for a 1M/1yr contract at first come, first serve basis.
