New Startup league looking to fill 8 more spots.

This league is a 12 team, PPR, Superflex, TE premium, IDP league. The league will use My Fantasy League (MFL) head to head scoring (weeks 1-13) in which 6 teams will make the playoffs., which will be week 14-16 of the regular season.
DIVISIONS
The league is comprised of 3 Divisions. The divisions will shuffle each year based on order of finish. This is to promote parity amongst the league.
REGULAR SEASON
The regular season will run during weeks 1-13 and playoffs will run during weeks 14-16. The regular season will involve versing the other three teams in your division twice and all other teams once. As a result, the final regular season week (13) will be a double header round with teams playing two matchups each to ensure you verse every team at least once.

TAXI SQUAD
Each team will have a 5 person Taxi Squad. Only players with 2 years or less seasons in the NFL are eligible to be on the taxi squad. Once promoted from the taxi squad a player cannot be demoted. Before the player begins his 3rd season in the league, he will need to be either added to the roster or dropped into the free agent pool. Offensive and Defensive players are eligible for the taxi squad designation
INJURED RESERVE
Each team will have a 5 spot IR. In order to be placed on IR, a player must be designated as IR by the NFL. No suspended players will be allowed to be on IR.
FEES
League fees will be $45 every year. MFL fee is $5 every year so that leaves $40 buy in for every team.

INITIAL DRAFT
The start-up draft will be 40 rounds and ran online. The start-up draft will include veteran/rookie players (both offensive and defensive). There will be an 8 hour timer on picks with a timer not active overnight. How this will work is outlined below.
We will be using a group text app called groupme. This is for communication between all of us during the draft.
The start-up draft order will be generated at random with the subsequent rookie draft order being the reverse of the start-up draft order. Both start up drafts for the league will utilise a snake order.
ROOKIE DRAFT
Each following year, there will be a 5 round rookie/free agent draft. This draft will consist of offensive and defensive players. Owners will be allowed to have these draft selections in addition to their roster until the start of the first preseason match where the 40 man roster must be finalised. This will be online draft much as the initial draft however will be a standard draft order like the regular NFL draft rather than a snake order
There will be a compensatory rookie draft pick 2.13 for the winner of the Night’s Watchman Consolatory Bracket each season. This pick will be tradeable.
The Rookie Draft Order each season will be determined as follows:
Round 1
Picks 1.01 to 1.06 – Determined based on the lowest total difference between potential points and actual points scored during the previous season out of those 6 teams which did not make the playoffs. I.E Lowest difference receives Pick 1.01; highest difference receives Pick 1.06.
Pick 1.07 – Winner of 5/6 Playoff
Pick 1.08 – Loser of 5/6 Playoff
Pick 1.09 – Winner of 3/4 Playoff
Pick 1.10 – Loser of 3/4 Playoff
Pick 1.11 – League Runner Up
Pick 1.12 – League Champion
Round 2
Will be the same as Round 1 with the addition of Pick 2.13 which is the compensatory pick awarded to the winner of the Night’s Watchman Consolatory Bracket.
SCORING
Owners are encouraged to become familiar with the scoring system under the scoring tab. PPR, PPC, TE Premium, IDP.
FREE AGENCY
Free agency will be a blind bidding system using FAAB. The budget each year will be $100 which will reset at the conclusion of each season’s rookie draft. The remainder will not roll over from year to year. Also, the $100 is for the ENTIRE season and offseason, plan accordingly.
There will be no maximum number of moves per week. Owners will not be allowed to add players from the free agent pool from the start of the Super Bowl until after the rookie draft each year.
TRADES
There is no maximum number of trades. A trade will not be vetoed, although if the commissioner is notified by two separate GM's then there will be a vote in order to veto the trade. A majority is needed (7) to overturn the trade. This is to prevent any sort of collusion.
Draft picks will be available to trade up to TWO YEARS in advance. Both owners must have league fees paid in full for the future season(s) in order to trade future draft picks. Ex: to trade 2020 1st you must pay 2020 league fees. (this allows the league to have a security blanket if an owner decides he/she no longer wants to play and we're left looking for a new owner to take over that team)
The trading deadline will be week 13 of the regular season. Trading will stop during the fantasy playoffs only and may recommence at the end of the Super Bowl
SEASONS END-OFFSEASON WAIVERS
Players cannot be added after the start of the super bowl until after the rookie draft.
Players CAN be traded during this time.
After the rookie draft, waivers will open on a weekly basis.
All money spent during this time will count towards teams $100 FAAB allowance.
TANKING
Tanking will not be allowed and if proven will result in the loss of your draft picks (3rd round pick – First offense, 2nd round pick – Second offence, 1st round pick – Third Offense. The commissioner will monitor tanking, and feedback from others is appreciated if suspected. 4th strike and the owner is removed from the league.
PLAYOFFS
Playoffs will run weeks 14-16 of the regular season.
Iron Throne Championship Bracket - 6 teams will make the playoffs. The 3 division winners will automatically make the playoffs. The top 2 record wise will obtain the 2 byes, the other division winner will be 3rd seed. The other 3 seeds will be determined by record, no matter the division. Tie breakers will be handled per MFL rules (consult league page) Highest seed will play lowest seed, much like NFL playoffs work.
Night’s Watchman Consolatory Bracket - The remaining six teams will compete in the Night’s Watchman Consolatory Bracket for a compensatory 2.13 rookie draft pick. The highest 2 seeds (7th & 8th) determined by record no matter the division will have the byes and it will run like the championship bracket. Due to the setup on MFL, this consolatory bracket will be manually imported after the regular season
REPLACEMENT OWNERS
If an owner decides to leave or is removed from the league, all monies paid in will be in forfeit and will be used toward a new owner. If more than one owner leaves and new owners cannot be found, all monies will be forfeit and both rosters and assets will go into a dispersal expansion draft.
