If Purdy plays poorly: will everyone be talking about the Browns defense being good or how overated Purdy is?

If Purdy plays well: will everyone be talking about how he’s only good because he’s surrounded by talent and weapons and coaching or he’s only good because he’s surrounded by talent and weapons and coaching.

Almost every article I've read has been "Brock Purdy is actually good and it's not just the weapons and coaching" so...
 
People dogging Purdy are grasping at staws at this point. The kid mastered Shanahans complex offense in half a season (it took Matt Ryan 2+ years), and he's executing it at a high level. Last time I checked, wins trump everything, and all he does is win and make it look easy.

I won't be surprised if the 30 point streak is snapped, but the win streak stays intact Sunday.

I'm having a big issue this morning.
I have Cooper-Kirk-Gabe Davis at the 2-3-4 spots, Cooper is usually auto-start in the WR2 spot.
Kirk loses snaps to Zay Jones and gets risky. He only had 1 catch vs the Colts Week 1
Gabe Davis 4 weeks in a row with a. TD, I was likely gonna roll him out there and perhaps put Cooper on the bench vs SF

That makes that decision much easier
I'll definitely be playing Kirk if that's the case.
 
Not gonna overthink this one. Maybe a home field edge for Cleveland.
Maybe a letdown for The Niners after smashing The Boys last week.
Maybe not...

It’s overcast in the low 50s, but it might stay dry until after game time. Latest forecast has a drizzle projected to arrive at 5 pm local time.
 
Purdy is due for a bad game. Maybe today, maybe next week, maybe next month. When it happens, I’ll chalk it up for what it is, an off day.
 
Niners win but IMHO this is an either/or for the Browns defense.
Either the Niners come out and roll all over them...
OR the Browns-D comes out with hair-on-fire till the offense can't muster drives and they tire out and eventually collapse.
No defense can stay on the field all game facing the sort of weapons SF has and expect to win.
 
How are the Niners not 20 point favs today?

That ties him with John Riggins and O.J. Simpson for the second longest streak in NFL history (including playoffs).
 
So, is that not a catch because he didn’t make a football move? He had the ball in his grasp, under control for like a full second- the lost it with the punch during the tackle

Shanny coached here, he knows that NO ONE wants to play in the, cold, wind, rain in Cleveland.
Game is ugly and is going to even uglier.
