Can we clear up the LB situation in SF?

Wilhoite replaces Willis if he is out

Skuta replaces Smith

Lemonier listed as DE on MFL site. Does he play a LB role?

This all correct?

In a dynasty league would Wilhoite be the better pickup due to talent level?

Skuta looks set for a longer term role I guess with Smith gone for who knows how long. Smith may be out for several weeks right?

Smith out at least 4 weeks for rehab. Different information depending on where you look. Where are the SF homers?

Lemonier and Skuta will share the Aldon snaps, Wilhoite if Willis is out.

I swear, if they awarded points for being closest-to-the-ball-without-being-part-of-the-tackle, then Patrick Willis would still be an elite LB.

The weird thing about Willis' season:

0 PD

0 Stuffs in the run game (Has a few TFL on pass plays)

0 Turnovers (0 INT & 0 FR)

Throw in the fact that he is averaging a bit above 5 solo tackles per game. It makes me question question if he is a true LB1 anymore.

My stats show 2 forced fumbles (0 recoveries) for Willis. 2.0 Sacks. Very low tackles this year for him - but that's to be expected now with the emergence of Bowman (98 solos!). He's second only to Dansby (100). Brooks has 46 solos himself.

For the past 2 years or so, I've always thought Bowman was the best Niner LB...very much seems to be case now.
