49ers will win 13 games. I GUARANTEE IT! (1 Viewer)

Tough loss today. You can't count out Favre in a 2-minute drill.

Regardless, it's impossible to rank the 49ers any worse than 3rd in the NFC right now. With that weak division, 13 wins is looking very likely.

Impossible? Post a poll, you won't even get a majority that agree with that. I don't think theyre top 5.

UmmmVikingsSaintsGiantsEaglesThen maybe the 49ersAnd if Gore is hurt for an extended amount of time they are sunk.

UNREAL....Poor Defensive coverage or the 49ers would be 3 - 0 why did they not push Harvin OB while he was in the air. With the rule change last year giving the defensive player the ability to push the offensive player out of bounds with no penalty. Game would of been over and 49ers 3 - 0. Tough Loss for the 49ers...

Losing in the last second to a top team on the road is rough.I get the feeling these two teams will meet again in the playoffs. They may be the best two teams in the NFC.

What really matters is the playoff seed. Division winners get top 4, and if the rest of our wack division keeps losing when we do, like this week, looking pretty good.Gotta give it up to the defense who held the MIN offense scoreless in the second half until that last second play.

All Arizona had to do is win the division and anything could happen in the playoffs. As a Niner fan, I'm happy for the Niners. I don't think they're a top 3 team, if they make the playoffs thats great. They are way ahead of schedule.

Whats important is winning the SB, not who gets the honor of winning the NFC West and getting knocked out at home in the first round by some powerhouse wildcard team from the East or North. SF isn't going to win 13 games, a little management of expectations is in order.

Say that to Detroit or Oakland. The Niners haven't been in the playoffs for a long time. Although it may be the point of the coach to say winning the superbowl is the ultimate goal, but to us fans, if they get into the playoffs, I'll be ecstatic.

While true, you have to remember this is a team that has been close to to the laughingstock of the league for the past few years. I'm not homerblinded enough to be claiming we're SB bound in the near future, but there's nothing wrong about taking satisfaction in the improvement and direction the team's going.

The 49ers are about to crush the rest of the NFC. They play in a weak division, they just dominated the defending NFC champ....ON THE ROAD. Shaun Hill is putting it together, and will likely be a Pro Bowler this season. I talked to my BIL, who is good friends with a personal trainer who said Crabtree is working with and getting advice from Jerry Rice and is likely to sign soon! The "supposed" favorites in the NFC will overlook the 49ers this year. WHAT A MISTAKE THAT WILL BE!!! Issac Bruce has a career 24.6 ypc in Candlestick, 35 career TDs, the guy simply loves playing in that stadium. Team Captain Veron Davis is making the leap, and will finish the year as the best TE in football. Patrick Willis is the best LB in the game, in the past 35 years.DOMINATION.
:lmao: #1 How is that no show WR doing for you?#2 Hill Pro Bowler (come on)I didn't even read the rest of the post. I was jacked up after reading your message. It's one thing to be happy that you have a Head Coach and the team looks 100% better. But Dude I need some of that $H!^ your on.

If you read the thread I say we will win 9 to 10 games.

Fair enough. This is a team on the upswing that is playing good defense and running the ball well. Those are good recipes for a bright future and for overperforming in the short term. But talent tends to win out in this league and as much as I appreciate the 9ers moxie and work ethic, they just don't have the talent to really go toe to toe with the heavy weights of the conference in a payoff scenario in my opinion. Yet.

49ers are a nice team, Singletary as HC looks like he's the goods, they're moving in the right direction. They're nowhere close to being a 13 win team yet, but I see no reason why they can't take that division. STL is horrendous, AZ looks to be suffering the SB loser hangover and SEA is extremely meh.

10-6 - it'll be nice to see playoff football at Candlestick again

Looking at what Vikings did in MNF made me realize how good our defense is. We're one lucky pass from 4-0. GB looks soft, we'd dominate them. No doubt in our mind we'd win the rematch with the Vikings. We're playoff bound folks! GO NINERSSSSS

49ers defense has good talent but they look terrible against the Falcons. One of the biggest beatdowns I've seen in a while.

:hot: :lmao: :lmao: new 49's same as the old 49"s

I'm in SF, just got back from bike ride on Golden Gate and saw some of the 2nd half of this game on TV. 49rs were AWFUL. Hill is HORRIBLE. Nobody can tell me that Hill is starty worthy in the NFL. I mean he looked that bad.

You may want to rewrite thisnew 49's same as the old 49's

Had high hopes for these guys when they began the season on a winning streak. It's really depressing that they've fallen this far this fast.

Still can win 9 games and the division. Didn't expect ATL and HOU as lock wins, so not trippin.

Fumble....HOU game ain't over yet.
