Texans Release RB

The Texans released ten veteran players Wednesday, including former starters Moran Norris, Todd Washington, Jerry Deloach, and Junior Ioane.

"We didn't have to do it now, but I've said ever since I got this job that if I don't believe we can give a player a legitimate chance to make the team, I'm not going to wait around," Texans coach Gary Kubiak told the Houston Chronicle. "I want the player to have a chance to catch on with another team as soon as possible."

Tupe Peko, Jason Anderson, Howie Epstein, Zeke Moreno, Frank Chamberlain, and Quinn Dorsey were also released.
