We have two openings in our seven year CBS League. It will be a live draft, so you have three options - attend live draft in So Cal; draft live on CBS website (I will update real time as live draft progresses; or be available by phone (I have one guy who does this every year). Rules
Draft: • Live Draft, 8/24/08 11:00 am Pacific.
• 18 Rounds.
Player Pool: AFC and NFC Players.
Positions: QB, RB, WR, TE, K and DST.
Transactions: • Lineup deadline is 5 minutes before gametime for each player.
• Owners may set lineups.
• Transactions will lock five minutes before the first game on Sunday. Players whose teams play before Sunday will be locked for the remainder of the scoring period.
• Owners may not do add/drops.
• Trades must be approved by the commissioner.
• No trades can be made after the trade deadline of 11:59 pm et 11/18/08.

No trades allowed after NFL Week 10. No free agent transactions allowed after NFL Week 14.
Playoffs
League playoffs start NFL Week 15 using a standard play-off schedule
The 2 Division winners along with 4 wildcards will advance to the playoffs.
Division winners will be determined by:
1. Overall record (winning percentage)
2. Head-to-head record
3. Divisional record (winning percentage)
4. Total points
5. Dice roll
Wildcard teams will be decided using numbers 1, 2, 4 & 5.
If Three or More teams tie for a wild card spot:
(Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of applicable two-club format.)
1. Apply division tie breaker to eliminate all but the highest-ranked club in each division before proceeding to step
2. Head-to-head sweep. (Applicable only if one club has defeated each of the others or if one club has lost to each of the others.)
3. Total points
The top two divisional winners will receive a first-round playoff bye.
During the playoffs, tie games are not allowed. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by using the total points of the reserve players on your team.
Entry Fees
The entry fee will be $60 per owner, which includes the CBS Site Fee.
Prize Breakdown:
1st place - $275
2nd place - $175
3rd place - $100
Consolation Bowl winner - $50
(Consolation Bowl - herby referred to as the "Toilet Bowl", is made up of the 8 teams who do not make the playoffs. They will play a format the same as the regular playoff format during the playoff weeks to determine the "Toilet Bowl" winner.
We will be using a waiver process for all free agent acquisitions. For more information, read the link about waivers in the help section.
Injured Reserve Position rules:
A player can be put on IR if they meet any of the following conditions:
1. Listed as Doubtful or Out on the NFL injury report
2. Placed on the NFL team's Injured Reserve
As soon as the player's status changes, the player must be taken off of the IR roster position, and any other roster changes made so that the roster is legal.
