I'm starting up a new 12 team dynasty league including developmental players. League dues will be $75 with a 100% payout. Total fees for the first year will be $103.50. This includes the initial $75 league fee and a $25 deposit for 2009. This will help to ensure that owners will stick around for the long haul and not abandon ship. If they do decide to leave anyway, that deposit money will be seen as a discount to the incoming team (there are exceptions, which are outlined in the bylaws).
The league will be hosted on MFL. Draft will start shortly after the league is full and will be a slow draft with a 10 hour timer. Considering we are drafting prior to the NFL draft, instead of drafting the incoming rookies, we will be selecting rookie picks. Therefore, instead of drafting Michael Crabtree, for instance, you'll draft 1.01. We'll then hold a rookie draft after the NFL draft.
A bit about myself....I've been playing FF for about 6 years and I'm currently in 10 leagues with guys here on FBG. Two of those leagues I am the commissioner. One of those leagues is a mirror of this league. You can find the 2008 site of that league here. It is setup exactly the same and the startup was last year. Everyone finds the developmental aspect of the draft a blast and many of the owners from that league expressed interest in joining if I ever did a "Part 2" of that league. If you are familiar with the Backyard Brawl leagues, the developmental players concept is the same. I play with some well known folks here at FBG (Bloom, EBF, broncofan13000, gianmarco, jeter23, JPeso, Patoons, etc.) I can provide references if you'd like.
Starting requirements are:
1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 3 FLEX (RB/WR/TE) , 1 PK, 1 DST
I have set up the site with all of the bylaws, scoring, and other basics. I have been tinkering with Photoshop and will be customizing the site with graphics and customized team banners once the league is full. I'll ask for everyone's input on what they'd like their banner to look like and go from there.
The league site is located here:

The direct link to the bylaws is found here:

An explanation of the developmental players can be found in the bylaws section at the above link. You are basically drafting a college player to your team. He must be eligible to enter the NFL the following year. Each year following the initial draft, there will be two separate drafts. One for rookies and one for developmental players.
Payouts will be as follows....
League Payouts
$75 x 12 = $900 - $70 hosting fees = $830 100% payout.
PRIZES:
1st place Champion = $425
2nd place Runner Up = $225
3rd place = $100
4th Place = $40
Consolation Bowl Winner = $40

Anyone who knows me or is in a league with me, knows that I'm ridiculously active in my leagues. Even in the offseason, I still check into my leagues at least once a day. It is my intention to fill this league with similar individuals. I want it to be both competitive and active.
Email me or PM with interest. Also, if you could please give me a summary of your FF experience and a reference with your PM/email I'd appreciate it. It is well worth it as this format is a blast.
