For those that have a Yahoo account.

Anyways,... I play in two Yahoo leagues just for kicks and came across another league when I noticed one team with 79 transactions??? What is the sense of this? Did they not do one ounce of "homework' before the season started? Did they just have bad breaks and had to get the team straight after 66 moves? Are they really that bad at Fantasy Football? I found this amusing and wanted to share... To me though, I doubt I would ever be in a postion to do 79 transactions. Heck, I don't even know of 79 players I would want on my team. Is this team just playing match ups with availble FA's?

Has anyone seen a team do more? Provide a link if you could.

That's a lot. I've been much less active this year than in years past because my draft worked out pretty well, and I've stuck with the same defense (something I normally don't do). I have 30 transactions this year, and there is someone who has more than me.

It's worth noting that it's not about picking up 79 different players. If you look at his transactions, picks someone up, drops them, picks someone else up, drops them (occasionaly for the guy he had in the first place) etc. IN some cases, it's like he just can't make his mind up and touches all three. I've also seen some people try to do this on purpose to make people waste their waiver priority, though I think Yahoo now drops to free agents if you drop within 15 minutes to prevent this sort of behavior. (E.g., some people used to "touch" all of the kickers to put them on waivers right before the game if their opponent needed a kicker)

I'm not quite that bad, but I definitely cycle through players. I've had guys like Lundy, Williamson, and Matt Jones on my roster each on 3 separate occasions.

I had 130 moves in my Yahoo Baseball roto league. I didn't do my homework either.

I was unable to attend the live draft in my yahoo league at the last minute and had not pre-picked any players.

Ended up with a team that I had to gut and then build. The only drafted players I kept were Deuce, TBell, Droughns, Manning, Fitz and AJohn.

I've done something like 50 moves including trades - 13 in the first two weeks alone - and I am now in first place in that league with the most FPs.

Moves = championship.

he drops/picks up a lot of good players.. types of players that are not typically available (Cothery, MB3, Delhomme, Jennings etc.)

rosters are kind of small 12 plyaer slots, 1 kicker and upto 4 defenses

27 Transactions to build the masterpiece below, and it has been fabulous. There is only two players on my roster that I have kept all year (L.T. and Westbrook).

I only have 30 this year -QB and DEF by committee with 14 roster spots. The next closest in our league is 10. The "kids" in my league give me a hard time because its $.50/player added or dropped. I'm just having fun.

I've got more than that in one league, but it's a 45 player roster dynasty starting 11 IDP, and we cut 7 from preseason to regular season. I lost my entire DL for 2 different weeks injured or on bye, and I've had about 5 guys go on IR, some fringe players who I cut, other who I kept, but I needed to replace for depth.

This doesn't count the draft, but it counts all multi-player moves as one move if doen at the same time: cutdown or add/drop.

Dont know if thats what happened here, but in yahoo the commish can alter the number of transactions a team makes. I have bumped up a guy by 80 or so here and there, just to witness the hilarity that ensues as the rest of the league notices and makes fun of him. Eventually someone figures it out.

The yahoo league i am in has a limit of 9 FA pickups during the year.. I couldnt imagine making 79 moves
