Yeah the copious amount of wine I had last night helped. Although it wasn’t fun waking up and seeing I was in a bit of a predicament.

Thanks for bearing with the somewhat erratic timing of my play this morning and last night. I was in a bad position I thought when I looked at the board this morning but, thankfully,  the hangover subsided and the kids calmed down to focus and somehow get out of the trap you had me in.

I just tried the Sicilian Defense but I was exposed kingside and disaster ensued.

It’s supposed to be the best defense against an e4 opening but I always seem to wind up moving a bunch of pawns instead of developing my minor pieces.

Our GB @timschochet had a small issue in the PSF and won't be able to join us for a week.  I'll be passing along info for him - pairings and such. 

My first order of business is to make sure that I play Ned next.
